• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are you still riding in the Northeast?

No... I would have been this past weekend, but I had my gallbladder removed Friday, and I'm still a bit tender from the surgery!! I never thought scheduling surgery for December 4th would impact my riding schedule. :sour: My fiance changed my rear tire yesterday and was nice enough to take...

Congrats on your spyder!! I'm from a phone company family. Most of my family works now or use to work for Fairpoint/Verizon/Bell Atlantic/New England Tel/etc in VT... Even I did stint there one summer during college! Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

    Potential Newbie

I'm also a newbie. I've had my motorcycle endorsement for about 5 years, and grew up riding a snowmobile, but the spyder for me was quite different than 2 wheels. Not worse, just different. Truth be told, I was never 100% confident on 2 wheels. I liked it, I rode with my fiance, and spending...

    CT get together

That sounds great. Just spyders might be tough for me, I'm not sure I can sneak out of the house without my fiance noticing!! He's is a 2 wheeler rider (triumph tiger), who knows though, maybe he'll get on the back of mine!!! I can't do this weekend, my spyder is going in for its first...

If anyone goes to the greater Putnam/Pomfret area you could try Coriander's on Route 198 Eastford. I think the food is much much better than the Vanilla Bean. It's smaller, and usually less crowded. Parking is a bit weird, but on Sundays you can park in the post office parking lot across the...

    CT/Mother Nature.....Where is the warmth??

I went to work yesterday, so my fiance took mine out for a ride. He's got a 2 wheeler, but likes to ride my spyder every once in a while. He says it reminds him of his snowmobiling days. We rode last weekend though. We took a nice trip around the Quabbin Reservoir in Mass. The shady spots...

    My maiden voyage was successful!!!

LOL... I'm more of a ride it a little bit like your grandmother is on the back sorta girl!! I'm getting more adventurous though. I'm hoping one day soon I'll find the 5th gear! haha... Fortunately where we live is very rural and you can go a lot of different places without highways. From...

    My maiden voyage was successful!!!

Hey everyone! I just picked up my 2014 ST Limited yesterday and took it out for a nice little 70 mile jaunt today through the greater NE Connecticut areas (Woodstock, Pomfret, Hampton, Canterbury and Eastford areas). I saw 2 fellow spyders in my travels and about a billion other 2 wheelers...
