• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    New Front Tires

Front tires I suggest you consider Michelin Energy Saver tires for the front. I had Discount Tire mount me a pair and I liked everything about them. I think you will be pleased with the Kumho rear tire. I have much better tire wear than the Kenda. Ride safe. Kerrville Bob

    My email to Carlo

Wheel Alignment OK Spyder Owners. Here's my shot at offering a method for checking the front wheel for alignment problems. First off, Dr. Bruce, head Spyder mechanic at my dealer (South Texas Suzuki) is as good as they come for working on Spyders and giving pointers to owners. My first SE-5...

    Need Experienced Opinion on Mufflers

Leo Vince Exhaust I replaced stock with a Leo Vince muffler and was very satisfied with it. Its rated 93 db which I believe is legal for most states. I loved the sound, got at least 1 mpg more, but guess what. My mostly BMW and V-Strom riding buddies made me ride in the back so when I hit a dog...

    Ride-On for your Spyder

Ride-On Thanks Lamonster for your info on amounts to use. I offer a short testimony of my use of Ride-On in my Spyder tires. Six of "The Lost Boys" did a 5 day hamburger run about Texas. Traveled a total of 1800 miles and ate 2 hamburgers per day for the 5 days. At the end of the run found a...

    Rear tire

Rear Tire I have had good luck with Toyo Proxes. Great tread design, getting 20-25% better mileage than the OE tire. Discount tire can get it for you and in Kerrville it only cost me $120.00 mounted taxes and all. Discount Tire is my choice since they have so many locations around the USA.

    hand brake survey

ISCI Handbrake Had a ISCI Hand Brake Assembly Modified installed on my SE-5 before I left for Daytona Bike Races. Normally I do my own installs but had the Spyder in for service so I went ahead and had Bruce ( the Spyder Master Mechanic at South Texas Suzuki) install mine. He was very...

A question for all Spyder owners.

Purchase a Spyder? Yes, even though I've had some unusual problems. I'm now on my third Spyder. I'm a sport bike rider (I've owned 3 FJR 1300s plus others). Would you believe I've only got an SE5 now. I've learned to ride it like a sport bike or at least I've learned to keep pace with my sport...

    spyder buyers beware.

Thanks for the advice, it makes sense to me. Bought my wifes Spyder from a dealer who mostly sells motorcycles and it became obvious at my 600 mile service that the mechanic wasn't up to speed on the servicing of the Spyder.
