• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just got home from Spyders in the Redwoods

We also arrived home safely. It was our first Spyder event and the first time meeting another Spyder owner. We met and rode with some very nice people from WA, CA and Northern OR. I guess there are not many Southern OR Spyder owners :). We got the front end alignment done and enjoyed the event...

    Push to Talk

I would like to add an air horn to my 2014 RTsm6 but also want to keep the stock horn. I have been trying to find out how the PTT switch is wired. It is not used on my spyder so thought it would be a good horn button. Has anyone used the PTT or know where I can get wiring and pin out...

    sway bar!

Big difference I put mine on the first of the week and was very impressed with the first test ride. Yesterday we took it out for 160 mile ride on Oregon back roads and it was a different handling spyder. Much smother cornering and stable feeling. Thank you Ron.

    Any one ridding

I agree that it more the ride than the destination most of the time. I still do the Hwy5 grind to Hillsboro to see my daughter a few times a year, but prefer to set GPS to avoid Hwys and see the back roads. In my younger 2 wheel days I did a number of iron-butt and baby-butt rides. Perhaps I...

    Install time

Thank you all Thanks for all the information. I bought the roll bar with the intention of installing it myself, but am having a problem with getting the 20-24 inches clearance and my getting up off the floor :). I am planning on getting the laser alignment at the Redwoods Run so may bring it...

    Install time

I have ron's sway bar and was going to try and have the dealer install it for me. What is a reasonable amount of time to install? They quoited me 4-5 hours minimum. From the posts I have found on the forum I thought it would be about half that. Has anyone had their dealer install and what was...

    Any one ridding

I have not been on those roads so can't give a 1st hand account. I did talk to a local biker yesterday and he said the following route from Klamath Falls to Yreka is a good ride. --- 97, W. Ball Mountain Rd, Harry Cash Rd, Lower Little Shasta Rd, (Montage) Montage Rd (3). I guess I will have to...
