• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    3000 mile service

I dropped my 2014 RT off at Flat Out Powersports in Martinsville, IN last Saturday for the 3000 mile service. They also did the laser alignment. I picked it up yesterday and what a difference the alignment made. I recommend anyone that hasn't gotten the alignment to do so. Flat Out has a great...

    ultimate seat

Visit to Ultimate Seat Showroom My wife and I visited the store yesterday and were able to sit on an RT with the tall boy and we both loved it. My wife could tell a big difference with the passenger backrest from the OEM not pushing her forward. I like sitting back farther and love the...

What to do with old helmets

Old helmets > 5 years old If they are five years old or more cut the straps off and throw them away. Helmets are only rated for five years of life. I wouldn't want to be liable if someone wore it and needed it and it failed to protect.

Going for a demo day test ride, any things to look for?

We traded our GL 1800 for a 2014 RT Limited earlier this year and love it. No regret. Love the semi-automatic transmission and large floorboards. On my demo ride I kept reaching for the missing clutch and break levers . Take it easy on the turns until you get used to it. Don't have a...

    Passenger backrest pushing wife forward.

We purchased a new 2014 RT earlier this year and my wife complains that her backrest pushes high in the middle of her back and makes her feel she is leaning forward. Has anyone else had this problem? We have the stock OEM seat and wondered if the Ultimate or Corbin seat/backrest would help.

    Sway Bar

Installed the BajaRon SwayBar yesterday. Not too hard to do. I bought a low-profile long reach 2 ton floor jack from Harbor Freight which slides under the 2014 RT without needing ramps or boards to drive on. I placed a piece of plywood on the jack bell to protect the frame and prevent sliding...

    Skidplate

I installed mine yesterday. Pretty easy to do. The first thing is to temporarily mount it with the four existing holes and then drill the others. Make sure the front tip lines up with front body point. I used blue painters tape to hold the front up while I drilled the holes. There are two holes...
