• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Got the Corbin Seat Mounted!!!

I think I sit pretty much the same amount forward and backward. If there is a difference at all...I think it angles me tilted more forward...but it is definately a comfortable position. What I really like is that the seat cradles me...I feel like I'm IN THE SEAT...NOT ON A SEAT.

    Got the Corbin Seat Mounted!!!

Corbin Seat & Sport Rack To clarify and answer the question asked above... Corbin obviously didn't have a spyder with a sport rack on it when they designed the seat...they are not compatible if the seat is mounted as described and if you want to utilize the hydraulic piston that props the...

    Oil consumption

No oil loss... 2700 miles on my lil' booger and no oil consumption. Because of this thread I check it today...spot on...didn't need a drop. The spyder has a pretty well defined method of checking the oil...a little different than most bikes....if you are accustomed to other bikes check the...

    Got the Corbin Seat Mounted!!!

CORBIN SEAT RULES!!!! I rode the spyder to work today and loved it. Very comfortable. It supports my bottom all around...much better than stock seat...no comparison. The ride to work is 45 minutes...it was just as nice comming home. Then the big test. Rode with the little lady on the...

    Got the Corbin Seat Mounted!!!

It arrived at my office today and I mounted it as soon as I got off of work. Like all the other accessories...installation was a bit of a hassel. Let me say 1st that the quality of the 2 piece seat is commendable...however, the fit at the leading edge is a bit too wide...the seat doesnt hug...

My Corbin seat arrives on 6-30-08

The seat was about $300 for the driver and about $200 for the passenger's. I didn't order a backrest for myself because the seating position on the spyder puts the driver in a leaned forward position...I didn't think I'd be able to lean against it while riding. She doesnt need the backrest...

    Hard Bags

If I like the quality of the Corbin seat and my wife is able to ride the spyder for longer times then I'm going to invest in hard bags for the spyder. I'll get the Corbin's if those are the only ones available but if someone knows of some alternatives let me know. I keep hearing about the...

    Parking Brake Alternative

Yeah...you'd think designing a working parking brake would be a simple project. Anyone wanna buy a slightly used parking brake? ;D lol.

    Parking Brake Alternative

Well I've tired of the parking brake woes. If I push down enough to actually lock the brakes so the bike doesn't roll then it's often too hard to disengage and I'm not fond of riding my spyder with the brakes enagaged ;D so...what I do now is leave the bike in 1st gear when I shut her off and...

    BRP website issues

Anybody else having this issue? I emailed BRP 3 times and never received an answer...I emailed again just now (don't know why I bothered). I setup a club (Spyder Bikers) on their website and I can't administer it. I can't add photos, change the email address, setup events or...

Don't let people bounce on your Highway pegs

This was cool if I do say so myself...I just returned to my Spyder from the inside of a McDonalds and there was this pickup that stopped in front of my Spyder and this guy was sitting on it...I walked up to his drivers side, his door was open, and climbed in and started turning his steering...

    Before the Spyder...The CB750

Remember the Honda CB750 of the 1970's? One of the best selling bikes ever...I even had the CB750A that had the semi-auto tranny (torque-converter). Here's a CB750 Reverse trike...hmmmm....looks a lot like a Spyder at first glance huh...

    handlebars

I too love the bars...how soon will these be available? Is it something that the average guy could do himself? Also, what are those things I see in the 3rd picture on your left front wheel and in the 4th picture it's on the right front? Are those lights?
