• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Wheelchairlift for Can-Am Spyder RS

You amaze me and I hope to be able to persevere as well as you do when I get to the point that a wheel chair is necessary.

Fall Foliage in New England is here

I was up in Conway yesterday and I'd say peak is about a week away South of the Notches. I didn't get North of the Kank, but it's still got a few more days to go thru there.

    Flat tire kit

I've found that the "mushsroom" head plugs work best, but it takes a tool to insert then. Still, it doesn't take up much room, so that's what I carry. Add a small compressor and you're good to go. Otherwise a credit card and a cell phone also works pretty good :joke:

feel i need to defend myself

John, I have not always agreed with all your posts, but I have enjoyed most of them. You have my kind of sense of humor and I will miss you if you do not post any more. We all know that you need a relatively thick skin if you choose to join into some of the conversations. If you don't have...

    Planning for solo trip.

If I'm solo, I usually carry a Seal Line waterproof bag on the back seat to get some extra luggage space. I use ROK straps to hold it on and it snaps on and off pretty easy at night.

A new issue with the bags

I've had a side case open while driving 3 times now. It was not the same case each time (once right , twice left). I haven't lost anything yet, but I did have to turn around and retrieve a bag yesterday. I'm not sure why this is happening because I'm usually pretty good about making sure that...

What type of gas does everyone use

I just can't see any reason to disregard the MFG recommendation on this issue. So I use anything at or above 91 and then just forget it and ride

    Because I'm Happy

Way to go guys. It seems like the logical decision given that there are no real changes for 2015. I like your choice of colors too.

    215/60R15 Michelin Hydroedge wear report

Lord knows I'm no expert on what the nanny will or will not accept as far as tires go. :dontknow: I just know that I'm completely happy with the 215/60/15 Hydroedge on the RT and will continue running it until I run thru the two I have. I've had no nanny issues (and I've pushed...

    I have been noticing lately.....................

Jeez you miss a lot of "stuff" when you actually go out and ride that thing in the driveway. Took a day off and went to the mountains and look what happens :banghead:

    F3 Windshield

I'm using the 23" vented BRP replacement on my 2014 RT and am quite happy with it. Down, it gives good air and up it gives decent protection.

    I have been noticing lately.....................

:agree: with all that's been said and you guys already know my feelings on the subject. If it can't be discussed in a friendly way, I just get out of the conversation or avoid it all together. This is a "brotherhood" and we should all be here to help each other.

    215/60R15 Michelin Hydroedge wear report

It's a good fit on the Spyder for me. I ran it up thru Quebec last summer and it performed flawlessly, rain or shine. After I was happy, I went out and bought a second one so I'd have a "spare". Too bad they discontinued them. I'm on a hunt now for a new front, but there's no rush, the...

    It's Getting Colder

Yup, it's getting colder down this way too. We've already gone below freezing a couple of nights and the mornings are getting brisk. We're supposed to have a heat wave this weekend, but then back down to typical fall weather. Leaves are starting to get real pretty and it'll soon be time to...
