• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is there a Code Reader for the Spyder?

I bought the adapter cable and tried it with the 2 OBD readers and the full diag scanner I have and none of them would connect to my Spyder.

    Canyon Test Ride

Canyon does not have the larger F3S Sprocket. Clearly visible in Lamont's videos.

Any recommendations/suggestions on Cordless power ratchet options for Spyder work?

Once you go red, you will never stray. Milwaukee for the build quality and the after sales support. Second to none. I no longer use any air tools in the shop as the Milwaukee electrics far surpass them and no hose to drag around.

Battery drained after 3 & 1/2 weeks standing, cranking slow, and throwing VSS Error - is this normal? Any help appreciated...

The NOCO Lithium has a significantly smaller storage capacity than the AGM that is specified for the bike. The bike will drain it flat faster than with the correct battery. Anytime the bike is not being ridden it will need to be on a battery maintainer if you want to use a Lithium battery.

What 14" front tire recommendation for 2010 RT-S

Bridgestone Potenza 165/65R14 is what we have been installing on the older Spyders with 14" wheels for years now. Good tire with good build quality.

22 Spyder RT Brake issues - EBC Rotor larger than OEM & abnormal/uneven pad wear. Does any of this make sense?

I still have the OEM original rotors on my 2015 F3S with over 100,000 miles on them. Been through the OEM pads and one set of EBC on the front, 3 sets of pads on the rear.

22 Spyder RT Brake issues - EBC Rotor larger than OEM & abnormal/uneven pad wear. Does any of this make sense?

The old rotors are from a 2012 or older Spyder and were the incorrect part.

Does anyone know a 2015 F3's standing current draw?

Key off, after the cluster and ECM shut down in about 30 seconds or so, continuous draw should be less than 20ma. 3 to 5 is more typical on an F3S that has no audio system.

Anyone have problems with Tricled Peel & Stick Wide-Vu Mirrors?

Can I get GPS on my 2024 S2S 10.25" screen; or GPS Software/Hardware, Apples to Oranges, or maybe not...

Have you considered a Magic Box 2? It's a wireless android auto converter box for Apple Carplay installations. I have not tried it but the company and reviews show it works.

2025 Pulse and Origin Reveal - did they fail mileage hopes?

I too ride a 2015 F3 and its right at 100,000 miles. As we have several long distance rides still planned including a trip to Alaska in 26, I will be in the market for a replacement this fall. I hate spending 20k to get another copy of the exact same bike I already own. I will, but hoping...

2025 Pulse and Origin Reveal - did they fail mileage hopes?

Back to the original topic, BRP's new electric bikes. Yes, I agree. Lots of hype from BRP and a lack luster product that is only useful for in-city commuting. Nearly useless as a recreational motorcycle. Like most manufacturers, it looks like BRP will spend a bunch of money on initial...

Has anybody found an A/mkt Air bag replacement?

Replace the air bag and OEM shock/spring with an Elka shock/spring sized for the correct load. Do away with the problem air bag.

Looking for Battery recommendations & sources to order from?

It's not a simple charge it up and install. It's a specific amperage for a specific period of time and then held in that state of charge at a specific voltage for a period of time to condition the cells. There are battery chargers available that have the cycle built in, but most do not. That...

Will a pre-load after market rear shock replace the need for the air bag?

Yes if you order the rear Elka with a load spring sized for that. Have installed a number of them that way and disabled the air bag system.

Is adding cruise control to a 2015 F3 as simple as changing the switch block?

Yes its that simple and the parts were under $300 in 2015. Also in 2015 the base and S models both had the same HP and the large rear sprocket. There were other differences between a base and S model, but HP was not it. The base model lost 10 hp in 2017 when it also lost the large rear...

2019 RT brake pedal still travels too far with new front pads installed. How do I get it back to normal?

Spyders use DOT4 fluid. Flush and bleed your brake fluid. It's years overdue.

Looking for Battery recommendations & sources to order from?

Why not just order the factory activated one that BRP recommends. They are almost the same price and then you know it was done correctly and the battery can be installed right out of the box.
