• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

998cc Newbie with 2008 990, stumbling and limp mode

Hello, Take a look at the exhaust O-rings. There are 2 to check. If worn, replace with Honda exhaust O-rings. I can't remember the part number off hand, sorry about that. I did replace both on my 2010 RS and it did help with backfiring. I found this...

Pairing motorcycle headset to bluetooth-enabled car radio

Thanks everyone for the ideas and suggestions. When I tried to pair to the chase vehicle, it can see the headset and a message displays that the pairing was successful, however, it does not show up on the list of paired devices. Upon further research, I discovered that the type of profile the...

I have the BT-S2 headset. I've never tried pairing it to a phone, but I believe it does have the hands-free capability. Here's an amazon link that shows the BT-S2. https://www.amazon.com/Helmet-Bluetooth-Headset-Communication-BT-S2/dp/B085RPKJFH

Pairing motorcycle headset to bluetooth-enabled car radio

Hi everybody, Does anyone know if it's possible to pair a motorcycle bluetooth headset to a bluetooth-enabled car radio? I need to be able to talk to the driver of our chase vehicle via my helmet-mounted headset. The driver will have a matching headset (that is already mounted in another helmet)...

Removal of panel around dash / cluster

Hello, I installed a weather proof lighter on mine on the right side of the cluster. I removed my instrument cluster so I could have access to the wiring inside the cowling. The cluster removes easily by pressing in two tabs on top of the cover. Drill a hole and pop it in. Wire to a harness that...

    Spyderpops Air Management System

I have installed the same kit on my Spyder and have nothing but good to say about it. I did not, however, install the scoop nor did I remove the bottom panel which does not appear to make the bike run hotter. Despite that and riding in hot (and humid) temps, the kit has improved the riding...

2012 RS 17K miles Brake Failure message

I pulled that image from the manual. Does your brake fluid come up to "Max"? I can't seem to tell if it is. If not, that could be part of the issue. Oh, check your brake lights. Make sure they work. If I remember correctly, I had a burned out brake bulb throw a code...

2012 RS 17K miles Brake Failure message

Hi Michael, The floats look about right to me. I try to change my brake fluid according to the maintenance schedule which is every 2 years. If the fluid has never been changed, I'm wondering if that might contribute to or possibly cause your brake problem. The O2 sensor could be bad or on its...
