• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2015 Riding Gear

I get what they are going for, and they pulled it off pretty well...though I don't really appreciate it, myself. I really prefer more real leather, padding, and slide safety over lightweight windbreakers and town-coats. I will admit- I'm a bit biased about gear, since I -only- ride, and never...

47 Tickets each day and we hit our goal!

Picked up a ticket yesterday. As a veteran with my own combat-related injuries, I support this endevour 100%. I only wish I could currently afford more tickets! My wife would absolutely kill to not have to ride up in the Queen seat! Best of luck to everyone, and thank you for supporting one of...

Anyone else get riled about two wheelers dumping on Trikes?

True bikers don't give a damn about what you ride, as long as you ride. Respect for respect's sake unless shown otherwise.

    Riding Naked!

I admit, in the summer months I only tote Boots, pants (usually ones I deployed in, since I like the style), t-shirt, leather vest, and helm. When the temp gets above 95 (and road temp way higher) I find it very difficult to be pursuaded to put on more, unless traveling on the expressway. My...

    Sheepskin seat covers.

Man, I'm reading about people getting burned from seats and all sorts of heat issues. Did I just luck out with my 2012 RT-S, as far as heat problems go? I've never gotten more than 'warm' from riding in up to 110F, and never more than 'slightly cold' in down to 11F. Is this a vehicle issue for...

    Spyders not for real men

Oh man, I get that. I'm 28 and I run with a pack of sportbikes one day and a pack of Cruisers the next. A few freinds joke with 'You shoulda gotta Harley', but I've not had anyone say any -real- smart. (On a side note, I did have a gentleman in a beat-up farm truck tell me to 'Get a real...

Pin Program No longer requires proof

I gave it a shot. After all, it is directly from the BRP site, about the pins. I only qualify for the 5K miles, currently, though I'm preparing to roll over 10K. I was just lazy! I'll let people know if it works out, once I get the pin. I was not asked for payment by any means.

Anyone Ride Year Round in Northern Climates?

I ride all year round here in Virginia, and have been since getting the spyder in Feb. It takes some preparation, but riding to work at 5am in 20F is pretty exhilarating.

    Stripped Gloriders

Contact them. Their customer service is top notch, alright. I had an issue with one of my GloRyders going out, and refusing to relight. They sent me a replacement in no time! They should be able to work with you.

    Gloriders installed, two thumbs up!!

Funnily enough, the cop I spoke to today said much of the same about candlepower. I showed it to him on yellow setting and then that orangish color and he said either should be acceptable in VA, and that no one would bother me as long as I didn't make myself a target. Good to know!

    Gloriders installed, two thumbs up!!

Recently, I received my glorider wheel hub lighting system in the mail, and they are simply amazing! Installation was a breeze, even if it took a little rubber mallet work to get the initial base set firmly into the hubs. I'll be attaching pics soon! Two thumbs up for excellent service...

    Night Riding

Doing blind tests ALWAYS makes you feel like an idiot, no matter what your previous experience with them has been. I used to have to do blind grab and go's with my aid bag, and in our Med Stryker. It works, you just feel silly trying to learn to do it.

    Night Riding

I assure you that I am far, far from perfect. Just an aging soldier who drills with equipment that may jeopardize his life if used inappropriately. I have enough to worry about with people not paying attention on the road (Texting/eating, etc) to have to try and juggle -too- much in active...

    Night Riding

I apologize if you felt my comment was coming off as 'snarky' or aggressive, I was simply trying to be curt and to the point about the issue. It isn't wise to be peering about one's car at night in search of vital, commonly used controls- the transition to motorcycle or open vehicle would be the...

    Night Riding

Well, in my experience, it takes far less time to 'glance' at a speed/RPM digital readout than it does to actively 'search' down and left, locate the intended button/function, and then re-acquire the roadway ahead. I think running 'blind' drills by feel on your roadster would assist a lot in the...
