• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    4000 plus

    Just finished over 4000 miles on the Spyder without a problem, avg. 35mpg. Hopefully will be posting pictures of our journey from Co. to Wa. State and all around soon. mtbear:yes:

    3000 mile service

    Had my 3000 mile service today on my 2015 red ltd. $137.00, Hard to beat that, so am now ready to hop on and head out to Spokane, Wa. next Thursday.     Well I went and did it yesterday. Traded in my 2012 rts e5 for a new 2015 beautiful red ltd. Sure ride smoother than my 2012 and you can tell there is a different motor and tranny in it. I just have to remember to put it in 6th gear instead of stopping at 5 on dash. lol. Question? does anyone...

    Am looking to trade in or sale my 2012 rts e5. Plan on getting a 2015 red limited rts e6 dealer said 17000 difference if trade. I have 16800 miles on my 2012. said they would take trailer hitch off my 12 for free and put it on 15. mtbear:D

    Cold

    2 degrees here this morning and 6" of snow. No riding Spyder but was able to ride my ATV with plow on it. Not as much fun lol. :dontknow:mtbear

    Colors ride

    Went for a ride up Highway 12 ( Highway of Legends yesterday, beautiful colors and snow capped mountains). Will post a video when I figure out how to get my GOPRO to download to computer. Was a beautiful ride. stopped at Cuchara Pass about 10,000ft and came back down, video both ways. mtbear:yes:

    Left fender

    Well the front bracket on my left fender broke. I stopped to see what was making so much noise up front and it was the fender. I had some electrical tape with me and it is holding so far. Called freemont Motorsports, they said to bring it in to see what part to order and they checked it all out...

    Higher octane

    I went to higher octane gas and now I am getting around 35mpg, that includes riding 75 on the highway. legal speed in Colorado. So whoever posted that a while back, it works, thanks. mtbear:D

    Three spiders down

    One was in my bathroom sink, it went down the drain, one was in my kitchen sink, it went down the drain and one was in my sock drawer, it went down the toilet. Me thinks it is time to bug bomb. mtbear:ohyea:

    Durango

    Those of you heading West on 160 through Walsenburg to Durango, be careful on LaVeta pass as there is construction and already three deadly accidents this year up there. People drive crazy over the pass. Just thought I would let you know. Wife and I will be heading out and over the pass tomorrow...

    snow

    I found out that the Spyder handles great in a snow storm. I had to lower windshield as the snow was wet and sticking to it and then had to open face shield as snow kept sticking to it. All I could do was laugh at myself and keep on ryding as the forcast had called for snow. Live and learn. lol
