• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trailer rent needed in South Florida

Hi guys. I'm in a bit of problem here, I promised the wife we'd trailer our RS from Boca to Maggie Valley for the Owners' Event. I hoped a U-Haul trailer would do the trick, but it does not (for less than an inch). Does anyone have an appropriate trailer I can rent for 10 days? Does anyone know...

    SoFL to Maggie Valley

Hi guys. Is there a group being rounded up to ride together from South Florida to Maggie Valley? Thanks for any info.

    Da Romanian experience

So after a hearty lunch with the Anarchists in Lakeland, I rode 220 miles down to Hollywood Fl, with Doc, Forrest and Ricardo to La Vendetta, a Romanian/Italian restaurant. What a great place, their bread is delicious, the attention was superb and the food was really, really fulfilling (if you...

    Happy Anniversary RoSanna

A day like today, one year ago, I took delivery of my dear RoSanna (RS), and like in any other new relationship, that day we started the exciting process of getting to know each other. It took me a few hundred miles to understand her. This was no first-sight-love-affair for me, I had...

    My new toy

Hi guys, just wanted to share pics of the two wheeler I got me this afternoon. A very, very clean 2004 BMW 2100 CL with only 3,946 original miles for half the price of the Kawa Concours I had in mind. My Spyder has company now in my very crowded garage 😄 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    Lamonster BBQ safe-return-roll-call

Want to thank Lamont again for a great time. Also want to say hi to all my new fellow Spyder riding friends, it was good to have met you. I made it back to Boca safe and sound and I hope everyone made it back home just as good. I have not heard from some of you, here is a chance to report your...

    High five for Customdynamics

Got a replacement set for their LED turning lights I had on my RS, a few of the light bulbs were burnt out and dirt and condensation had invaded the lens in the inside. I posted a question about this on their Facebook page and I got immediate response and excellent service. I do not mind paying...

    Polygamy OK?

I could never be a polygamist when it comes to the ladies, but I need to confess a strong attraction towards this set of two wheels... I rented a BMW 1200RT for the weekend and I think I'm hooked, what a bike! I would only change the mickey-mouse horn it comes with, something even dangerous for...

    My BumpSkid install

Just finished installing a BumpSkid on my 2011 RS, it took me about two and a half hours and it was a fairly straight forward, easy job. I'm very impressed with the quality of the components, way better than BRP's. My original skid plate did not survive my Colorado's adventures, I'm sure the...

    Down shifting issue

I wonder if any other SE5 system owner has this issue: my 2011 RS sometimes does not automatically rev up, as it should, to match the engine and gear box speeds. This is really annoying as I can feel my rear tire skidding when I down shift hard. Then, after I have arrived and turned the bike...

    BumpSkid and hydro-planing

I badly abused my RS's original skid plate while in Colorado, so I ordered a BumpSkid from Spyderpops.com as a replacement. It looks like a great product, however, should I be concerned its sleek, ample form and vast undercarriage coverage could promote hydro-planing? Sent from my iPad...

    Question on Spyder hygiene

Got my Spyder delivered from Colorado today. I took all the Tupperware off to inspect and check the inside and it is really dirty, after one too many dirt roads I took. What is the best way to approach engine and frame cleaning? Long ago, on my regular bikes I used to go de-greaser and hose but...

I already miss her so much...

Took me just under 4 hours yesterday from Denver to Ft Lauderdale, on a jet plane :) I wish I could have ridden her back but after 16 days on the road, my wife and cat were really on my case. I took my beloved RS to an Allied Transport warehouse yesterday morning and they promised I'd have it in...

    Spyders rule

Two interesting things happened today that made me happy I own a Spyder. I went for a ride near Denver to the Lariat loop, as I was getting there a group of crotch-rockets passed me and they kind of gave me "the look". Intermittent rain started to fall as I entered Lariat loop road and...

    Any Nanny stories from Durango?

Had an "interesting" experience this afternoon as we were coming into Frisco, CO, during a rain storm. Here is video from the pilot's point of view. The wife was a little shaken afterward but I give her a lot of credit for this is her first long ride experience. I also give the Spyder a lot of...
