• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3 Parking Brake sometimes won't disengage - any ideas?

All, Haven't been on here in years but glad this website is still around. Did a search on F3 Parking brake but couldn't find any definitive direction to resolve. Mine always seems to be a voltage sense issue. I can tell it's going to act up if the Engine turns over a little slowly upon...

    Issues with F3 limited

It seems the F3 limited gets “confused”. If I turn the key on, hit the mode button to allow things to progress, then try to disable the parking brake-the computer gets confused that even though the parking brake releases, the indicator light remains on... anyone had a similar situation? If I...

    Spyders in monsoon weather

Just wanted to post about the great stability of the Spyder in Tucson. Coming home from work, a 45 minute ride, I hit one of the typical Monsoons in Tucson. This was a 35 mph sideways wind in torrential downpour. The rain was bowing sideways and sandblasting my bare hands. My 2009 RS SE held...

Motorcycle Rally in puerto penasco, Mexico (Rocky Point)

There was a large Biker Rally in Mexico last weekend. My wife and I didn't ride as we were there building a house for the homeless . Kept my eyes open for Spyders, and saw one down there. The link below takes you to a short article and pictures. Sure enough, out of the 4000 bikes, one of the...

    Wing Dreams armrest

I ordered arm rests a month ago, called and left messages and emails. Reached them once and they guaranteed a callback the next day. That was two weeks ago. Strongly recommend that you do not shop with them. They have my credit card info, never charged it, and I don't believe I will ever hear...

    Spyder SE cover for Mods?

I have a 2009 SE that I've added Corbin seats, the smuggler trunk, and now a 25 inch touring windshield. My travel cover just barely fit with a Velcro extension with the smuggler trunk. Now with the windshield, it ain't gonna work. The RT cover looks too big. Any suggestions for a partial or...

    Shift solenoid ground wire

On my first long ride (3 hours) I had trouble once getting from neutral and into first. Had to hit the shift button 4 times. Does that sound like the solenoid ground wire issue?

    Rear foot Pegs?

My wife and I just finished our first 3 hour ride up and back from mount lemon in Tucson. 107 degrees in town, 80 on the mountain. Had a blast!!! Here's the question. We've got an 09 SE5, Corbin seats and trunk. Got her back and bottom comfortable..... Just need something for the feet...

    Curiosity question.......

I've heard that Spyder drivers can go to the DMV and test on their bikes, and get a restricted (3 wheel) license. I'm actually taking the course to be licensed on two wheelers because I thought there would be safety information applicable to any wheeled bike. Do most Spyder drivers get...

    Recommended upgrades?

Can anyone tell me if the "recommended" upgrades are covered by the dealer? I've had the recall notice on the steering replaced, but have read stories about "grounding wires" on shift mechanisms - but since my bike isn't acting up, it wasn't installed by the dealer at time of service. I've...
