• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Razor Trailers

Needing a trailer for the RT and have looked at several. This one seems to use the KISS principle in its design and makes it easy to ride on and off. Does anyone have any experience with this trailer or have better options? http://razortrailers.com/ Much thanks for all comments.

    Rear Shock Issues

I have a 2015 RT LTD and have had it back to the dealer 4 separate times for the rear shock. Now I am taking it back for the 5th time. The issue is at the first of a ride, the shock indicator on the dash shows the compressor/shock setting as expected. Sometime during the ride it switches over...

    New Elka 2-Stage Shocks

I just got a pair of Elka 2-stage shocks put on my 2015 RT. Boy, that one change has the bike feeling completely different. The front end no longer dips into a turn nor do I have to continually correct the steering throughout the corner. I can pick my line and it will stay true. The other...

    Cool Decal For Your Spyder

I just ran across this while looking for 52mm charging ports. It would be a cool decal to add. http://www.wholesalebuying.com/product/fashion-alloy-3d-spider-design-car-auto-decoration-sticker-adhesive-silver-hot-186075

    Finally Pulled The Trigger

Well I have been wanting to upgrade my 2011 RT LTD to the new 1330 cc engine. My 2011 has been a great ride and I have taken it for many a weekend ride and some week long rides. It has never failed me, but I was looking for the extra power, cooling and gas mileage. I pulled the trigger on a...

RT 2015 Model vs 2016 Model Features

All, My apologizes if this has been posted in teh past. I am thinking about trading my 2011 RT Limited in for a 2015/2016 model. The larger engine, better heat transfer and longer range has me thinking hard. I see where BRP is running a promotional on 2015 models and was wondering what the...

    The Great River Road

Has anyone tackled this ride? We are looking for the next adventure and was looking at this ryde. Is it best to tackle it from north to south, or south to north? Did you go all the way to the southern most point of the road? Was it worth going all the way, or was there portions that were...

    Reflector Replacement

I have to replace the mud guard on the left front fender. The new one did not come with a reflector attached so I will have to try to remove the old one and move it to the new guard. I was planning on using the heat gun trick for the removal process; however, what is the best way to reattach...

    Electrical and Oil Pressure Gauges

All, I am thinking about pulling the analog gas and water temp gauges and replacing them with voltage and oil pressure gauges. The ones I have found are prosport EVO series gauges but I cannot find any information about whether they are, at a minimum, water resistant if not water proof. Also...

    Pin Program

Has anyone had problems getting their awards pin from BRP? I received my new owner's package shortly after my purchase, but I have submitted for my 5K pin multiple times and no response from BRP as to whether they received my submittal or why it might have been rejected. I assume I probably...

    KewlMetal Helmet Locks

Does anyone have any experience with the handlebar end helmet locks that are sold by KewlMetal? I am thinking about picking up a set for those times where the compartments are being used and not enough room for 1, or 2, helmets in them. Would save having to carry them around. I am also...

    Sticky Post Listing Service Bulletins?

This is a follow-up to another posting that I had earlier. Would it be beneficial for all here to have a sticky post listing all of the service bulletins, by year, for both the sport and tour versions? I have seen a lot of posts about bulletins, but have no idea if I would be interested in...

    Rain Gear

I am fairly new to riding and was wondering what you would recommend for rain gear. I have done some research and from what I can tell for low-to-medium pricing, Frog Toggs and Tour Master Elite II seem to be fairly popular. I am tending to lean towards the Tour Master since they go lower on...

    Recall & Maintenance Notices

Is there a good site, or sites, that carries a list of recall notices and maintenance bulletins for the Spyder? I would like to see the trends of what is going on with BRP on their issues. I also want to make sure I am covered on any recalls or important maintenance notices.

    Folding A Travel Cover

This is a strange question, but is there a recommended approach to folding the travel cover for the :spyder:? We have folded ours several times and each time, it just does not want to fit back into the attached bag very well. Maybe that is just how it is, but it looked so nice coming from the...
