• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need new rear tire for RT 2012. Tire store recommends directional tire for bike

I've looked over prior posts on front and rear tires for the Spyder since I need new tires for my 2012 RT. I have a front tire that is losing air (despite Ride On) and decided all 3 tires need replaced. The rear one is almost 6 years old and still looks great (it's a Mirada Sport GTX...

    Women's Seminar

A group of women are at a seminar on how to live in a loving relationship with your husband. The women were asked, "How many of you love your husband?" All the women raised their hands. Then they were asked, "When was the last time you told your husband you loved him?" Some women answered...

    Need your help, please

One of the other Girls on Spyders posted this info about a contest for a Smart Brailler. She requested votes for the Porter child, who is the grandson of friends of theirs. All it takes is a little time to cast a vote; the contest ends at midnight ET Sept 8th so time is running out. Please...

    Power steering question

Ed (Erags) and I just completed an almost 1000 mile ride this past week; we combined a trip to babysit our youngest grandchild with riding the Natchez Trace (Natchez to Tupelo, anyway) and attending the Natchez Wine & Food Festival. We saw two Spyders on the Trace and met a Spyder owner at the...

How to fly a 3 x 5 ft. flag for PGR missions WITHOUT having a trailer hitch

Here are some pictures of the solution Ed (Erags) came up with so I can fly a 3 x 5 ft flag for PGR missions without having to buy a trailer hitch. For our flag lines at PGR missions, our local PGR uses flagpoles constructed of PVC pipe which screws together midway. Ed decided to try a similar...

A funny thing happened on our way to the Devil's Triangle

Ed (Erags) and I headed out on the "Hungry History Buff" trail in TN today. We saw the site where Uranium was enriched during WWII to create the Atomic Bomb, then stopped by the Wheat Community African Burial Ground (an 1850's slave cemetery with more than 90 unmarked graves). We enjoyed a...

Take time today to remember those that ensure our freedom and safety

Take some time today to remember those that work to ensure our safety and freedom...firefighters, policemen/women and our troops...especially those that have sacrificed all to do so. We rode in the 9th Annual Firefighters Ride yesterday from Cleveland to Medina OH, along with some other Ohio...

We will be in the Cleveland area until Tuesday, when we are heading back to Dayton. We had lunch today in Columbus with Cindy...nice little ride over from the AFB. Hope to get with...

It's been an exhausting few days...over 600 miles on our Spyders since Thursday!

We have been very busy riding around the local area since Thursday, when we had a Patriot Guard mission at Eglin AFB. Ed had an appointment for his concealed weapons license the next day so we decided to check out the Air Force Armament Museum near Eglin. We also rode over to Destin to check...

MoGang: PLEASE move Spyderfest to MAY

Dear Len and MoGang members: I am thoroughly tired of the April showers in Missouri (or was it Misery?)...how about trying for the May flowers instead (as the childhood rhyme goes)? Those of us not used to the cold could better acclimate to the weather in May...the time between Mother's Day...

    He did it!

Thought I'd let everyone know that Erags has finally done it...finished his chemo (8 rounds of an aggressive regimen), with no sign of his lymphoma on his most recent testing.:2excited::yes: We're figuring on one more overnight admission for transfusions, most likely in about a week, then...

    Check out this bike

I received an email today with this bike :yikes: in it today...have any Indiana riders seen it recently? It looks like it would be pretty interesting to ride.

    I did it!

I finally did it...hit the 5000 mile mark! Less than 4 months after getting my motorcycle endorsement. Woohoo!:2excited: It looked like I was going to be a little short when we were approaching the house, so I had Ed go on home while I rode around...in circles. (well, not really, but...

    It's Mardi Gras time!

We are in the middle of Mardi Gras time in the South...we're not letting something like Ed's chemo interfere with partying! (Well, maybe a little bit)! He was the only one at Les Harlequins Ball wearing a mask that was not in the krewe or on the court. If I'd have been thinking, I'd have...

    Our bikes disagree about everything!

Our Spyders don't agree about anything...they are off when it comes to speed, distance driven and outside temperature! Oh, well...WE are in agreement that they are a blast to drive. That's all that counts!

    Great news on Ed (Erags)

:2excited: The GI doc called this afternoon to report all of Ed's random GI biopsies were negative for cancer.:yes: His PET and CT scans were negative last week. Oncologist wants him to get two more rounds of chemo (one of each regimen), then he'll be finished! He should be done with...

Question about the bouncing fuel gauge...for those that replaced their gauge

I'm now having problems with the bouncing fuel gauge that a number of you have complained about. The RT has around 3900 miles on it. In the last week or so I've noticed the fuel gauge bouncing around like a spinning compass. It seems like some of you haven't had resolution of the problem by...
