• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2013 ST Limited

Saw it yesterday when I took my 2010 RS SE-5 in for maintenance. Thinking of selling bike as I have little time for riding right now. Service tech showed me the new Spyder. Tempting me... It is a bit cost prohibitive right now though.

    TricLed Customer Service #1

I know that most of you know this but for those of you sitting on the fence, I can attest that Reggy's customer service is beyond measure. I had a small problem with a string of lights I bought from him about six months ago. I think it is a loose connection somewhere but since the dealer...

    Check Engine Light On Briefly

Got caught in cold rain a couple of days ago on trip to gas station. About 40 degrees out with winds bringing temps to near freezing. Came home and put 2010 Spyder RS SE5 in garage and dried it off with towels and ran engine for about 30 mins idling. Took it out for a spin today in 60 degree...

    Winter Storage

Okay, I filled up the tank and bought some Sta-Bil. Got caught in the rain Saturday going to gas station. First time out in the rain on the Spyder since I bought it last February. Have new 2010 RS SE5. Felt a little bad getting it wet but if a bike can't take the rain, it is not a bike. As...

    Belt Position

Do it matter that the belt is not all the way back on the wheel in the grooves? Someone told me that causes faster wear on the belt. The belt grooves are exactly even with the outer part of the rim where the teeth are. SHould I have the dealer move the belt closer to the inside of the...

    Throaty Exhaust Sound

I have about 1200 miles on the bike and I have noticed the sound of the bike getting deeper. I am told it is due to normal carbon build up in the exhaust. Is this correct and okay for the bike?

    Warming Up Engine

How long do you usually warm up the engine? I find that if I do not warm it up about 5-10 mins, my engine will sometimes quit out on me between 1-2 gear sometimes. This usually occurs until the engine runs for awhile. Is this common?:dontknow:

    Working on Turns

I am practicing turns but when I am riding I am still feeling a pull away from the turn even though I am leaning over the handlebars and leaning into the turn. Is there anything else I should be doing to reduce the pullaway?

    Breaking In Engine & Mileage

I now have over a 1000 miles on the bike. My last gas mileage check was 33.2 mpg. The best ever! My current usage is just as promising. I am at a half tank and should get about 150 miles on the bike. Feeling good.

    TricLights

Ordered some LEDs for turn signals, brake and running lights and the white and red fender running lights. I installed some of them but messed up a little so I had my dealer finish the job. They look WONDERFUL!!! I did not like paying the dealer for some of the lights but I am glad they are...

    Accessory Lighting

Put on some lighting from Tricplate. Took awhile. Put on rear upper turn LED signals. They seem to be working correctly. Put on 12" LED running lights/brake lights and the left side worked okay but the right side worked intermittently. Thought the positaps may have severed a power wire so...
