• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Silver color-matched 2012 RT trailer...question about how to sell it

So I've decided that I was hasty in buying the color-matched trailer when I bought my silver 2012 RT. There's so much storage on the machine itself that the trailer has been sitting in my garage, Spyder-trailer cover on it, with the tires sitting on cardboard to keep them from being aged by the...

How to Steer a Spyder and Avoid the Pain between the Shoulders (video)

Hi, there! So I posted my method of steering the Spyder to avoid the high-intensity pain that occurs between the shoulder blades and on up into the back of the neck that can result from pushing on the handlebars but I thought I'd post this video to give you a better description of the process...

Video of John Anderson's "Seal Floorboards" on my RT

I was so pleased with the quality and workmanship (along with the ease of installation) on the Seal floorboards that I just bought for my 2012 RT that I promised to tell you how great they are! I figured there's no better way to do that than to provide a video so here it is: In the video, I...

Tour of Honor Nationwide Self-Directed Rally

In this day and age, inviting riders to participate in a rally that memorializes and honors those who've served our country - especially those who've perished while doing so - may not be politically correct but I'm too simple to care. I hope you won't mind. The "2013 Tour of Honor Rally" will...

    Eliminate Thigh Cramps

So I'm tall and thin-hipped so sitting in the position required to ride a Spyder, even an RT, can cause cramping in the front of my upper thighs. Perhaps you've experienced the same thing. Here's what I've learned helps to alleviate the cramps when they do occur: Rock/lean forward in the...

Eliminate the pain between the shoulder blades

So I figured something out that has worked wonders for me so thought it might help others of you as well. I hope this isn't redundant but I did look for this topic and found only other complaints of the pain that developed between the shoulder blades and up into the neck when riding for any...

    Intermittent Cruise Control

Peace! So I've now got nearly 3000 miles on my 2012 RT (which I bought late last Fall) and I've thoroughly enjoyed it, especially on bitterly-cold winter days because (a) no bugs, (b) minimal traffic, and (c) see a and b. If the roads are dry, even if there's snow piled up on the sides, it's a...
