• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We have a Red Rock Canyon on order. Hoping for March delivery. SpyderAnn is looking forward to it. Post up if you have one coming! Obviously, it’s getting squared away first thing! Then, lots of miles to figure out what it needs. Planning on Deadwood in July. Lots of roaming around Montana...

I Highly recommend the Pedal box

Put a pedal box from Lamonster’s Garage on a friend’s bike the other day. Fantastic! Works great, and makes quite a difference! I’m sold! I also agree with his video; connect it, and mount it under the body. My friend had a cuff, which is cool, but I think once you have it set to where you want...

    She left me!

Out of the blue, SpyderAnn decided to leave! Wait, what? I watched her ride away! Said she was going East. I was so sad. Separated! The hours turned to days. I attempted to drown my sorrow with demon rum. Almost worked. A week later, she wanted me to pick her up at the airport! Turns out, she...

From the folks who brought you the Wedgie for the F3, a new fix! The Squared Away Mirror Stabilizer (SAMS) is an easy fix that eliminates the shake and wobble found on the 2020/2021 RT/LTD. Simple installation, requires the tools in your stock toolkit, and a pair of pliers. We just spoke with...

    2020 RT wiring harness

Ok, like everyone else, waiting on a trailer wiring harness for the new bike. Earlier, in February, we confirmed the trailer hitch fits. All years. The whole harness assembly is on back order. If you kept your harness off your old bike, or, want the individual part numbers, here they are: Part...

    2020 RT project

Ok, I think I can post: We have a 2020 RT. Stock bars are perfect for me; I have long arms. SpyderAnn, not so much. So, took a measurement of reduced reach bars. Not optimal. Then friends who got reduced reach bars confirmed what we thought: too close for comfort. So, the next idea was stock...

    Warning warning warning

Had a lady come in today, thought her F3Limited right saddlebag hinge was broken. I took it apart and found the plastic had been ruined(turned to mush!) by brake fluid. She had a bottle that must have leaked, and it pooled by the hinge. I knew brake fluid would ruin paint, but did not know it...

    Compressor

Had a friend come over, complaining of a rough ride. Checked, no air in air bag. Filled it up, and it leaked out. Could not get the compressor to work. To check the bag, we used Les and Roger’s trick: run the air line from shrader valve to air bag. No parts to buy, just connect the lines from...

    Google ad

I saw an ad tonight from Google. It was about numbers. Then I recognized what the numbers were: military career field identifiers. So, I paid more attention. The voice over mentioned that only 7% of all Americans have ever served in the Armed Forces. The ad went on to encourage businesses to...

F3T and F3Limited mirror fix! The Wedgie!

If you have an F3T/L, and the mirrors shake, we have the fix! We tried all the posted DIY, then bolts, screws, you name it. They seemed to work, then as time went by, they went right back to useless. As a MSF instructor, using your mirrors helps keep you safe. Mirrors you can’t see with are...

    Sticking saddlebag

Had one that just refused to work properly. Did the hip check trick, the slap and tickle, jiggle. Finally got it open. Lubed the catch. Adjusted it to hit properly. Still sticky. Went thru that a few times to find the sweet spot. Nope! Finally took all the Tupperware off the back, turned the...

    Antenna

Ann broke her antenna. Snapped off at the base. 7mm deepwell socket got the base out. I read on here you could fix it. Put the antenna in the vise between wood scraps. Used a new hacksaw blade to cut off cleanly. Put base in a drill press vise, drilled out remains. There is a tiny wad of metal...

Stebel horn on a 2013 RT

We had folks ask for an air horn on a 2013 RT. horrible job! I borrowed a 13 from a friend, offering a free horn for his bike. I knew it would take a while, so, spent several hours in the garage trying to come up with a solution, or, confirm it is not cost effective to do as a business. Bottom...

    Electric

Rode one of these today! Kind of fun, silent, smooth. Makes me wonder where that white and green Eco Spyder went...... the limit on these is battery. An RS has plenty of room for a lot of batteries. Just wondering......Joe
