• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Battery drained after 3 & 1/2 weeks standing, cranking slow, and throwing VSS Error - is this normal? Any help appreciated...

I installed a NOCO Lithium NLP20 battery back in January just because of all the negative comments about the original batteries that are installed from the factory. I did fully charge it before installation and normally keep the Spyder (2024 RTL) on a tender. The last time I rode it was March...

Washed 2024 RTL, engine light on, no start

I washed the spyder and when I tried to start it, it would not turn over. Engine light is on. Checked battery voltage - seems OK. Used compressed air (in a can) to blow out around started switch, etc, still no joy. Wondering if it sits for a while and dries out if it will start, or do I need to...

Jury is still out on my new Airhawk - how hard is it to find the sweet spot?

I rode 200 miles today trying out the airhawk. Started to get a little "butt burn" around the first hour mark. Removed a little more air, but right now it doesn't seem to any more effective than my butt buffer. I'm going to give it a little more time before I decide whether or not to keep it. It...

Scheduled the 3000 mile service on my 2024 RTL

Friday morning at the dealer where I purchased it. Quoted a cost of $280-$320 which seems a bit high to me for what is essentially an oil change. I'm taking it to the dealer for the first service primarily because I have at least $125 credit on the books there (maybe $150), so I need to use it...

Do you remove your Airhawk seat pad when you leave your Spyder parked?

For those with Airhawk seat pads, do you generally remove it when stopped for any length of time and away from the Spyder? Seems it would be too easy for someone to unhook it and be gone. I just got mine and haven't put it on yet, but I do plan to not leave it on when away. Just wondering what...

Installed SpyderExtras Billet Aluminum Handlebar Riser Kit - not comfortable??

I installed the SpyderExtras Billet Aluminum Handlebar Riser Kit thinking it might make the ride a bit more comfortable, but I'm not sure that it is really as comfortable as stock. I know that when I added a riser to my Versys 650 it was much more comfortable. So now I'm wondering if I should go...

What is the actual break-in mileage? First oil-change due when?

New to the 3-wheel world but have been riding on 2 wheels for about 60 years or so. Took delivery of a 2024 Spyder RT Limited last Thursday; and on reading the manual I found differing information on break in mileage. One place says 600 miles, other places say 3000 miles. Maintenance schedule...
