• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Review: Install and first impression for Lidlox (helmet handlebar lock)

I installed the Lidlox on my left handle bar; (22F3S) it took about 10 minutes and was very easy to do. My helmet locks to the handlebar with the T Bar going through the slide on the helmet where the chin strap ratchet is inserted to hold your helmet in place when riding. It is supplied with the...

22 F3S MFI Stage 2 First Impressions - very nice (no airlid mod)

I sent my ECM to MFI in Ontario, and it took about 2 weeks from shipping to receive back. I asked Steve to leave my rev limiter at stock since it's harder to detect the tune at the dealership and I don't believe there is any need to raise it since I shift at about 7000 RPM at WOT. (Torque drops...

Review: Alberta Lithium LiFePo4 LFP 20L-BS battery - failed at 1 month?!

22 F3S Open the frunk, remove the 4 push pins (one at each corner), remove the trim piece that covers the latch by pulling up at each corner to pull out the pins from the rubber grommets, pull towards the front and set aside, lift up the basket and carefully position it towards the right side...

Checking ride height for all riders on new or new to them Spyders

My Spyder is a 22 F3S that I purchased new from the dealer in June 2023. From the time I first rode it on the highway I was uncomfortable with the wandering in the lane and what I felt was skittish steering behavior. I checked the tire pressure and it was high 23.5 psi vs 15 psi on the sticker...

Review: Install and 1 st ride on the Elka Stage 2 spring and shock package on 22 F3S @ 2300 m

I purchased the Elka Stage 2 package after sending an inquiry to Elka and John (the same guy from the Lamonster garage video) called to see what my needs were. After a short discussion (my prime concern was to reduce the push in high speed corners) he recommended the Stage 2 set up for my weight...

First sled ride for this season, Fernie, BC

We drove down from Edmonton to Fernie, about a 6 hr. drive and spent 3 days riding their trails. The trails were groomed but icy(marginal new snow). We saw a few families and at least 50 machines on the trails. First 2 days were 80km/50m each as we didn't know the area. The last day Dec 29th...

HowTo: Replacing the front (cadre) 705009339 on a 22 F3S

This is the front trim piece that fits over and holds the grill in place. Even though my machine is Mango Green this piece of plastic is black and costs about $80 Cdn. I touched a curb pulling into a restaurant in Sandpoint, heard a crunch and discovered I needed some duct tape to hold my...

HowTo: Making my own baffles for 22 F3S Cat delete

I installed the Cat delete pipe without the plug (db killer) that came with it and the stock muffler and found the exhaust sound very loud and rappy, especially if you wicked the throttle or went to WOT. Before installing the plug to compare sound levels I measured it without the center plug and...
