• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any Tips for removing clutch oil drain plug before hot oil shoots out?

This really seems like a silly question, but even after changing my 2022 RT oil three times now, I have yet to find a way to get the clutch (left side) drain plug out fast enough that I don't get flooded with searing hot oil. Maybe I do too good a job getting the bike up to operating temp? Even...

Have a big blue jack and a number of tools, but I'm not a professional mechanic. :-) Find it on Map! Ok, didn't expect it to create this. LOL

Bumped from behind -- how bad is this fender damage?

I was leading a group and when leaving a stop sign, they person behind me thought I was "going" when in fact I was moving forward to try to get a view of oncoming traffic. BONK. :banghead: They bumped into me at super low speed and hit dead center in the rear fender. From what I can tell...

What could this weird fender vibration when braking be?

I recently had new tires put on my 2022 RT Ltd, Vredestein Quatrack 165/60R-15 on the front, 215/60R15 rear. I've ridden it for a couple hundred miles with no issues, but today was a very quiet day, (no wind noise to speak of, and I had the radio off) and when I brake, I noticed I can hear a...

Recommendation for a pocket knife sheath?

I've carried a pocket knife of one kind or another ever since I was a kid. It's a tool that I seem to frequently have a need for -- it's not some soldier of fortune fantasy, and I don't expect to be in any knife fights. But I feel naked without it available. Problem is, the pocket clip for...

Any Tips for reducing road trip costs?

I'm trying to plan a week long road trip up and around lake michigan and back home, and the biggest hurdle seems to simply be cost. I know the basic route, roughly which city to shoot for each day, and what roads to take to stay off the interstate and just cruise along enjoying the scenery. I...

Ever taken the ferry between South Baymouth, Ontario, and Tobermory?

I'm thinking of taking the long way home next time I'm in Iowa, by going up into Canada, across the trans Canada highway, and then take the ferry south as I make my way back into Michigan heading to Missouri. The ferry looks like a nice change of pace, but I've never taken a motorcycle or...

Dealer says Rain triggered Limp Mode & VSS Fault? Is this true?

So today I was on the interstate, in the rain for about 100 miles on I-35. Temp was about 70 degrees, light but steady rain shower. I did have the heated grips on low because I only had mesh gloves and they were soaked and a little cool. Otherwise, I was cruising along just fine, enjoying the...
