• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where did all the Ride Reports go?

I'm an old fart and am lost with some of the changes to the site. Am I alone in having problems in searching for answers? In the old days, I scanned down the list of available forums and selected what I wanted. As an example . . . I love ride reports. So, how do I find and read old ride reports?

2022 Ryker Rally rear seat stuck - any suggestions?

I just purchased a 2022 Rally. I can't get the rear seat off. I've looked at every YouTube video on" How to Remove the Seat" (Raise button, slide seat forward). 1. The release button is up. Nothing protrudes from the bottom of the seat. 2.There are no screws or bolts showing on the underside of...

    Where did you ride?

My dad introduced me to riding in a 1937 Harley's sidecar when I was two weeks old. I've ridden bikes for the following 85 years. When I'm not riding, I love to read about other rider's adventures. Itchy Boots leads the list. There are a lot of reports here, but very few posted lately. With the...

Am I alone? I’m disappointed. With so many Spyder Lovers on this forum, why are there so few ride reports? I’ve read all of the previous entries. I’d like more. Who has done Pike’s Peak? Whitney portal? Death Valley? Sturgis? Maggie Valley? Bike week? The SCMC Four Corners Tour –...

New Rider - New Bike - Delivery

New Bike Beverly, a new neighbor, said she would like to have a demonstration ride on my Sea to Sky. After two short jaunts, she said she would like to get a machine of her own. :dg2: Financial restraints wouldn’t allow acquiring an RT or F3. I suggested she check out the Ryker. She...

Lead, Follow or Git Outa the Way!

Drat! It’s colder outside than a spinster sister’s brass bedstead. The Spyder needs an oil change and a new rear tire. I’m stuck inside. What can I do to escape this cabin’s closeness? Remember a better time! I dig around in a carboard box and discover the ride report of a trip taken when I was...

Has anyone ridden a Spyder to Prudhoe Bay?

Question - Has anyone ridden a Spyder to Prudhoe Bay? The ALCAN highway and the Cassier are no problem. I've been as far north as Coldfoot on a V-strom and got stopped by a blizzard. The haul road's dust, mud, slickum, detours, and changing weather is always challenge. The low clearance of my...

I did the 2023 Tennessee River 600 Jetski Tour!

RIVER RUN The Tennessee River 600 is an annual event where participants ride jet skis from Paris Landing (66 miles from the Kentucky state line) to Lenoir City, Tennessee. Could an 84-year-old man complete the tour? I investigated. I read the information on the tour’s website...
