• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Strange fault code at start up - P0135 - any ideas?

Twice now, weeks apart, when I start the bike, engine light stayed on, then the limp mode warning. checked the codes, and P0135 came up. Cleared, then all is fine. I usually leave it on a Bat tender even when it's being ridden on a regular basis. Both times it was not, but only sat for a few...

    Shout-out to Lamonster

I love giving my business to stand-up outfits! I have bought a fair amount of goodies for my Spyder from Lamonster over the last few years, mainly because they have good stuff, are quick to ship, and have competitive price's. They are also involved in the Spyder community. I bought one of the...

Frunk is soaking wet after a wash - any thoughts on where it's coming from??

Every time I wash my 2021 RTL, the Frunk gets soaking wet, but only at the bottom. Only using a normal garden hose. Can't tell where it's coming from! Any thoughts here? Thanks in advance.

My new Daylong saddle by Russell

I have been using a Russell seat on my other bikes for some 20 years, currently have 4, now 5 for my 2021 RTL. Choose the all-leather version and passenger option. Very pleased with how it looks and the ride. Ready for a long trip!!

Open trunk banner would not go out - anyone else?

On my 21 RTL with 19K, the banner on the display would not go out. Pulled the brake light off the trunk to better expose the micro switch. All looked clean and I could clearly hear it clicking. It appears to be a well-sealed unit, and I sprayed a good contact cleaner and worked the switch, but...

I received a letter from a toll road outfit claiming I blew off a toll on a road some 300+ miles away. Bill is now $45. and will be another $100. in 10 days if I don't pay it. I responded claiming I have never been there, but also included a picture of my Spyder asking them to compare it to the...

Lifting my Spyder on a Bend Pac

I'm lucky enough to own a Bend Pac lift, As I own several vintage cars and do all my own work. Already had the idea, but also saw a video of LaMonster doing work on his lift and noticed he had a nice center support that was obviously custom made for the rear wheel on his lift. Bend Pac's have a...

Baja Ron's new Ultra Sway bar is great! Easier to install, too!

Called Ron's shop on ordering some stuff including a sway bar, and was offered the option of a new Ultra bar over the original. Heavier option for aggressive 2 up, or chubby riders........😎 I do ride 2 up and also like pushing the corners. Cannot say how much better it is over his original bar...

Suddenly, Tach is reading high?? Anybody have a clue?

Out of the blue, my tach is off on my 2021 RTLT. Normal idle should be 800 RPM and is now reading 1150. Still sounds like a normal 800. At 65, it should be around 3000, but is now reading 3900. Everything else seems to be normal. Anybody have a clue? Thanks in advance!

Show Chrome Trunk Rack After Thoughts.

Although was not really needed, I decided to purchase and instal myself the trunk rack on my 21 RTLT. Directions were easy to follow and installed without an issue. So I realize the added weight does not allow the lid to remain open on it's own, but what annoys me is the lid is now slightly...

So I'm flying to Louisville next week to pick up a new used 2021 RT and ride it home to California via Houston. Heading south!!
