• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No luck Selling Spyder - should I part it out?

I have a question for all you out there. I've been trying to sell my Spyder for about the last 6 months now and advertised it in my local Wheels Deals, craiglist, newspaper classifieds, and on here with no luck. I've had more offers to sell it in pieces and am starting to consider it. I hate to...

    Riser install question

When I bought my Spyder, the owner said he installed a F1 windshield. I'm looking at installing a set of Street Magic Easy Risers and noticed I might have a clearance problem. Called ISCI that sell them and they said they didn't know if I was going to have a problem so they suggested I put this...

    Spyder trouble free until now

Walked out to the garage today and noticed a few drops of antifreeze on the floor under the Spyder. So started to take the skin off thinking it was a loose hose clamp or having to replace one of the substandard clamps they put on at the factory. All the clamps and hoses looked good so got the...

    East side of state Spyders?

I see that most of the Spyders are on the west side of the state. How many of us are on the east side of the state around Spokane and Idaho? I have seen a few more running around. When I'm riding the Spyder, I don't see any but when I ride my Harley, that's when I see them. Wouldn't you know it...

    Rear Ended

Wow, only had my spydie for about a month and was rearended at a light today. His bumper rode up my tire and wiped out the fender and braces. Didn't break any lenses on the lights though. I jacked up the rear tire off the ground and put it in gear and the tire rolls true so no damage to the...

    parking brake woes

I've noticed on my spyder that is it very difficult to release the parking brake. It's adjusted so it engages at about 2 clicks and holds the bike well but releasing it is very difficult. Has anyone ever thought of using a cable release for it. I'm sure something can be rigged to do this. Will...

    can be a nightmare

Have had my spyder just about a month now and have to admit it is harder to work on due to having to remove just about every panel on the bike just to work on it. Noticed I developed a small anti-freeze leak coming from the right side of the engine. Overnite I would have a small puddle under the...

    Mechanical Questions

Been looking to puchase a Spyder, but have read a few posts about people having to replace engines at around 25,000 miles. Is this normal or are these isolated cases? How many miles do some of you who own Spyder's have and what mechanical issues have you had with them? And just what does it cost...
