• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2025 Trip Planning - Maine Mostly

So, shortly after Christmas we start planning our 2025 trip/tour. This summer, we are going to cross off the NE states that we haven't ridden through. Most of our time will be in Maine, with quick stops in Rhode Island and New Hampshire just to cross those off the map. Plan is to run a bit (or...

Solved our Stuck Fan Relay Issue!

So, on day one of our trip, the fan relay stuck on. It happened once in Custer State Park last year, I did the tapity-tap thing, and all was good. A few days ago in Branson, the relay stuck on again, and no amount of coercion would get it to release. I pulled the relay and off to O’Reilly’s...

    2024 Tour Planning

Last year, we toured Pennsylvania, and you guys and gals on this site really came through with awesome suggestions. We listened to you, and saw some amazing things, and rode some amazing 2 lanes. I appreciate every one who gave us input. I am starting my 2024 trip plans. I am planning a tour...

Early To Bed for my Spyder this season...

 Well, in 2 weeks, I have to put the Spyder on the dollies and inthe corner of the garage, in August, with 2 or 3 months of riding left. Shoulder surgery at the end of the month will have me out for quite a while. I can't complain, we did a lot of fun stuff on the bike this year, touring...

Mid-West bracing for a Blizzard Winter Storm - Stay Safe

I'm surprised a little that I'm the first to post about it, but the midwest is bracing for a potential blizzard winter storm. My bike is tucked away in the (thankfully heated - never below 40 F as long as there is power) garage, so this storm is not affecting my ride time. But I hear all the way...

Poconos Trip June 2023 - any must see and do's in the area?

My wife and I are planning a trip in June to PA. I am thinking of taking the northern route from IL, stopping in Punxsutawney first to see the critter. Our way home will be a southern route to spend a day in Gettysburg. So I have the trip bookended with the tourist stuff. I am looking for...

Anyone added this type of Passenger Highway Pegs??

A little different perspective here. After a little over 3 months and close to 4,000 miles I have decided that as the driver, I am going to get a set of highway pegs. My wife and full time passenger also likes the option of varying her seating position on long stretches. On our Victory, I...

    Squirrel Strike

Early morning ride to work resulted in a left front squirrel strike. Little bugger made it across my lane past the center line, I am slowing up, and he decided to cut back. Bad decision on his part. I clipped him with the inner left front tire, and he bounced down the underside of the machine...

Review: Thumbs up on SpyderPops SpyderBags!

About 600 miles into our 2022 S2S and loving the bike. I had very little issue getting used to driving it, coming from many years of 2 wheels. The one thing that threw me and my wife off was the storage. By the numbers, the Spyder has more storage volume than the Victory CCT we have been...

Picked it up Friday - rode it home about 90 miles. About 20 miles in I was comfortable and grinning ear to ear. Pic is at delivery - I will try to get some more this week but I have been working. I was able to ride to work this morning, and I was still smiling! I have yet to even program radio...

Connectivity Question - can I connect my iPhone like this?

Long story - I have been researching Spyders for a while. I am sold on the stability, looks, function for touring two-up. Haven't committed to a model yet, F-3 Limited Special, RT-L and Sea to Sky are all in the running, but I think my question is true to them all. My current set up is running...
