• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Power Buss Install

Installed a power buss on my 2010 RT-S. Chose to install it under the seat so that I'd have easy access to it without removing body pannels. Not enough height clearance under the seat for the buss so I removed the plactic pannel over the left side, top of the gas tank, cut an outline of the buss...

    KUDOS to Doc-Riverside

Spent week end installing KwelMetal air cleaner on my 2010 RT-S. Thanks to Doc, job was a breeze. While I had it apart, removed both exhaust headers and wrapped them in titatium exhaust wrap and changed the spark plugs. Unbeliveable how much room there is to work with the stock air box and...

    Checking oil level

Just a thought but wondering why there couldn't be some acceptable way to check the Spyder oil level, while the engine is cold and has set for some period of time. The reason I'm asking this question is I'm always frustrated with the foam in the oil when checking it as outlined in the owners...

Thought I should pass this on so all are aware. RT at shop with second leaking water pump shaft. Part still not sent to dealer. Web check by dealer says "in process". This after a week waiting. FYI Oil Leak at Water Pump Shaft

Have my 2010 RT-S in for 24K service and while it's there, the dealer is fixing the oil leak at the water pump shaft that several here have experienced. After having BRP send them 2 replacement shafts, the RT is still in a state of disrepair. Seems the replcement shafts were made wrong (extended...

Came home from Cuba yeasterday morning and 5 miles short of the house, DPS fault warning came on the dash. I would like to have my I-Phone 4 pluged into the radio while it's mounted up front at handle bar location. Carbon Fiber Handle Bar

Finally got the parts back from the painter and reinstalled the handle bar. Looks so much better than the bare aluminum. Next phase is the rear drive/timming belt pulley. My painter is on vacation till after the 1st so this will take longer. With the rear pulley done, I won't have any aluminum...

    Anti Vib Work

Got the Rt all apart and waiting for handle bar to come back from painter. Decided this was a good time to cut/grind clearance for the engine support rod which causes everyone vibration. As you can see in the photos, I don't have much room in my basement garage for this project but it works...
