• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Will a pre-load after market rear shock replace the need for the air bag?

My '20 RT Base pre-load air bag won't hold air. I'm a 'spirited' solo rider and have Elkas and BajaRon's bar up front. My options: - Replace bag with OEM bag and leaving OEM shock (40k mi) in place. or - Replace OEM shock with a pre-load and rebound shock and ignore the bag. My question is...

Is there a list of Spyderlovers vendors with contact info?

It was nice to have a Vendor spot on the old forum. Does anyone have a simple list of the dealers who made this site special?

My LinQ Knob Tool ain't pretty, but it works well!

I remove the RT's rear deck and mount an RT LinQ Rack for multi-day trips. The LinQ knob is too tight for my tender hands, so I used a channel-lock plier in the past and scarred the handle. I discovered a 1 1/2 in PVC pipe fit the dwells of the knob so I notched out a ~1 3/16 in gap ~ 1/2 in...

Need a list of preferred shops in the NJ area capable of doing Laser alignment?

I'm in central New Jersey and need to find a shop that does Laser alignments within 100 miles or so. I found a list of Rolo shops but there's no ratings/feedback that I've found. http://www.spydercomfort.com/dealers.htm I need 2 front tires mounted, spin balanced & aligned. Anyone have...

    Spyders passing HDs

On two separate occasions I have had HD riders attempt to block me from passing with the Spyder. The rest of my group was on 2 wheels and passed without incident. I typically sweep and the 1st time this happened was when going around 2 HDs out to smell the roses. After the others passed, the 2nd...

Has anyone disassembled the 2020 RT fairing(?) to get behind dash?

2020 RT I want to put a shelf on top of the dash shroud and run wires inside that space. Has anyone opened front fairing behind the windscreen? I was hoping someone may have been down this road before and even had a video. Looking for teardown sequence, not detailed step-by-step.:pray:

Tornado Disaster - Hoping all came thru safely!

Last night a large swath of the southeast was devastated by tornadoes. Massive damage across several states and populated areas. Many deaths and missing people. My thoughts and prayers to those affected. Hope you and yours are safe!

Gasoline access from northern Indiana to Yellowstone Natl Park?

I'm making a 2 week loop from NJ to Devil's Tower, Deadwood, Yellowstone and Pikes Peak then back. My Sport Tourer got 50 mpg with 6+ gal tank so never had to worry about fuel. I have ~4k on the RT and I'm only getting ~30 mpg with lots of 70+ mph miles. I figure that's not going to improve when...

    Question re: VSS action

From the Service Manual: Anyone know what, specifically changes? If I put a drybag across the pillion seat, will it affect VSS?

Anyone tried Power Vision 3 on their 2020+ 1330's?

I'm looking to add a tuner to my 2020 RT. I'd rather not have to send my ECU away for a tune. Dynojet compatibility for the PV3 lists the 2019 F3 (1300) but nothing for any year RT! My assumption is the PV3 will work on the '20+ 1300s, F3 or RT, but I'm not pulling the trigger yet. Has anyone...

What wheel balancer do you use for front wheels?

I have a Marc Parnes balancer with cones that work for the rear wheel but the center hub on the fronts is too small & narrow for any cones available from MP. I also tried an auto shop dynamic balancer but the same issue - hub diameter too small for their cones. Harbor Freight has a bubble...

HowTo: My DIY RT 2020 Aux light

I wanted to add an LED DRL below the headlights and BRP sells a plug & play strip for $265. :roflblack: https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/us/en/shop/spyder-accessories/lights-accessories/lights/auxiliary-light.html Soooo, I went to amazon and found these for $22. a pair...

Any suggestions on where to tap the tail light wires on a 2020 RT?

I want to add an LED tail light cluster below my license plate and tap into the common harness somewhere behind the seat without pulling tupperware if possible. Anyone know how to identify the bundle?

TPMS to monitor all 3 tires and the RT airbag

I am looking for a 4-wheel waterproof TPMS system so I can monitor all wheels and the 2020 RT base rear airabag. I've only found a lighter socket version on amazon but want to mount the display on the bars or dash. I'd rather not install a socket to do this and would prefer using USB or 12v. Has...

Bajaron bar installed - now I'm drifting!

I installed the Bajaron sway this week on my 2020 RT and rode 100 miles yesterday. Unquestionably better handling albeit a bit harsher which is to be expected. My question is how do I keep from having the rear tire break loose and occasionally getting 3-wheel drifts? I ride solo and I have about...
