• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Monster vs. Wick-It vs. Denali vs. ??

Looking to reflash my bike's ECU for better-than-stock performance. Anybody have any experience with these guys ?? What reputable company does good, timely work ?? Thanks in advance.

What bike did you ride to get your motorcycle license ??

Many, MANY years ago, in my 20s, I decided to get a motorcycle. I figured I'm grown up enough and can ride a bike despite my parent's disapproval. So when I moved to FL and researched what a good beginner street bike would be. I bought a brand new Kawasaki Ninja 250R (as though the "R" would...

Do you like riding your Spyder during motorcycle rallies ??

I like riding my RTL during Reno's annual Street Vibrations Motorcycle Rally. Not only is the region filled with great riding, but I just like to look at the many bikes that I encounter. Of course, I see the diehard Harley guys walk by my ride like it doesn't exist, BUT I also meet people...

What’s your best memory/story (so far) with your Spyder/Ryker ??

For me, it would have to be my very first ryde. Haven’t had any long-distance trips to speak of ….

Did you keep your bike stock ??

Not including adding minor mods like cup holders or phone holders, did you keep your bike the same as it rolled out of the factory ?? Nope, not me. - https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?129103-Peacekeeper6-Mod-Thread&highlight=mod

When and where was the first time you rode a Can-Am tryke ??

Inspired by the 'Where did you start?' thread. It was about 2 years ago during a trip to Las Vegas, a.k.a. "Lost Wages". My g/f and I were looking for something to do besides lose money at the casinos, LOL. I happened upon an outfit called "Las Vegas Spyder Tours" (not sure they're in...

Thank goodness for Baja Ron's Swaybar and endlinks !!

Otherwise, I’d have been blown all over the road. One of THE most blustery days of riding. I remember when I had my stock swaybar how difficult it was to keep the bike between the lines during EXTREMELY windy days. So, SO glad my bike handles days like today with aplomb. Thanks Baja Ron !!

Which tire do you think is prone to getting a flat ??

So my theory is to NEVER drive exactly in the middle of the road. I usually let the center line run either between my left front tire and the rear, or the right front tire and the rear, depending on which lane I'm riding in. My theory is that road debris like screws and nails will settle on...

Do you think dealerships should offer some compensation/discounts ??

For the incredibly long delivery wait times. I just hear of so many buyers of new bikes that have to wait MONTHS to finally get their bikes delivered. By the time they finally get their fully-functional machine, half the riding season will just about be over. Also, it's just pure torture for...

Do you feel the Can-Am course benefited you significantly* ??

(This poll is only for motorcycle riders with 20 or more years of experience on 2-wheels prior to purchasing their Spyder) *significantly - as in learn something from the course that may have prevented you from injuring/hurting yourself or others.

RLS Cat Delete and Two Brothers Racing muffler combination

So I got my RLS cat delete from Ricky in TX. Wow, can't believe how fast that came !! Anyway, I'll be ready in a few weeks to install it. I'm just waiting for the weather to warm up a little. I am interested in finding the right mix in both sound and performance, so I was wondering if any of...

Your thoughts on shifting and front pulley longevity wanted

So we have a 2018 RT-L with the semi-automatic transmission. I was experimenting with various rpms on which to upshift, and I have found that the 2900-3100 rpm range provides the smoothest transition to the next gear. When I upshift north of 3500 rpms, I find that I am rewarded with a jerky...

Do you still have a regular motorcycle along with your Spyder ??

I've been riding our Spyder for the last 3 months, not even getting any seat time on my Harley. So today, for the first time this year, I decided to hop on my motorcycle and see if I still enjoy riding it. Tell ya one thing: Riding a motorcycle sure takes a lot more concentration, which makes...

Would you rent out your Spyder ??

Inspired by another thread. And if you have multiple Spyders, would you rent out your most expensive one ??

If you don’t wish to set off car alarms in a parking garage……

……do NOT install a Two Brothers Racing exhaust. And to think I was even going to buy a cat delete. LOVE the sound. Seems to be getting throatier, but i believe that’s to be expected as the miles pile on.
