• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Installed my Kuryakyn heavy Industries mirrors/Mirror extenders to get a better rearward view

Last week, after installing my Lamonster 2" riser block + Helibars, I did some further putzing. I elongated the pin hole on the bars so I could push the bars a bit more forward. This was quite comfy. But, checking my mirrors I saw that in this position, the handlebar controls completely blocked...

I just installed Helibars with Lamonster 2" riser plate

I initially had installed Helibar's on my 2022 RT S2S. After I had a seat redone by Russell Day Long, my ride height increased by approx 1". I found my bars to be too low for my 6'3" height. I then dug out my previously used Lamonster 2" riser plate to try. Obviously, my cable length was too...

Is it necessary to disconnect/purge the auto levelling system when fitting an a/mkt shock?

Hey all. I just ordered a Wilbers shock for my 2022 RT S2S, and plan on installing it when it arrives. I'll R&R it by removing all the panels on both sides and using lifts/jacks to get it off the ground. Would it be necessary to disconnect/purge the leveling system to remove the shock? I just...

Just ordered a Wilbers 640 rear shock! :)

Well, I pondered a rear shock for a while, and finally bit the bullet this morning. I was on the fence between the Wilbers 640 and Ikon 3610-1084. Through Ikon AU, the 3610-1084 would cost a very reasonable $565 shipped from AU, as Ikon USA will not sell this shock. A big deterrent for me with...

Large left side inner panel removal assistance needed (Madison, WI area)

OK. Trying to remove the large inner panel on my 2022 RT S2S is kicking my butt :( I have a new Lamonster belt dampener I want to install. Plenty of videos on (3) panel removal, but zero on the large panel removal. I popped off what I could, but access is still not available. If anyone is near...

2022 OEM RT S2S seat versus redone Russell Day Long seat.

Well... I received my RTL take off seat earlier this week from Russell Day Long. Its build date was Dec 30, and it came back on the 21st. I purchased the take off RTL seat for $125, as I wanted to keep my OEM RT S2S seat intact. My seat was spec'd to have black vinyl sides with graphite vinyl...

I received a notification from Slingmods about them now selling Baja Ron front shocks for F3/RT Spyders? They are manufactured here in the USA by JRI, which is a high quality suspension manufacturer. Ron, what else can you tell us about your shocks? Slingmods only offers one spring version. Do...

Where to look to get more handlebar cable slack on 2020+ RT models?

Hey all 2020+ RT owners, I'm wondering where to look under the side panels to get more handlebar cable slack for my 2022 RT S2S? I took off the wire loom clip at the top and just removed the (3) panels on both sides. The left side cable is nowhere to be found. I found a zip tie around two looms...

Wrapping/striping a frunk with matte or denim paint - Results?

Question for those who wrapped or decaled a frunk that is matte or denim paint. For those who have done this, are you happy with the results? I have a 2022 RT S2S with the matte/denim mystery blue paint. The finish is not exactly a smooth finish, and it can feel a little coarse. I'm pondering...

RTL/F3L Heated seats - does the Spyder need to be running for seats to heat?

Hey all with 2020+ RTL heated seats or, maybe, F3L heated seats. Does the byke need to be running or pressure applied to activate the heat elements? I turned on the ignition, flipped the heated seat to high and waited 10 minutes. I sat on it for a few minutes and still no heat. Guessing that...

Hey all, This request is for owners of 2020+ RT models that have had their driver seat rebuilt by Day-Long and Seth Laam.
