• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Frunk and Seat Latches

The Rube Goldberg opening method by cable attached to the ignition key do not fill me with confidence. Are there after market products to replace the latching method that would be more normal. The frunk should probably have a lock, but that is not a real necessity. The back seat opening...

    Seat Belts

Has anyone installed them? My co-rider thinks she would feel safer with one.

    Slippery Armrests

Put the BRP armrests on the 2019 F3L. GF says the are very slippery, and I have to agree. The hard plastic provides almost no friction. There are a number of non-slip sprays available, but not sure which one (if any) would work on this. Any suggestions based on experience would be appreciated.

    Removing Passenger Handholds

I am trying to install the passenger armrests from BRP on my 2019 F3L. The instructions call for the removal the passenger handholds. Well, there is a wire for the heating element and switch. The manual instructions for handhold removal do not mention this wire. It does not seem to have an easy...

    Comm Options

Back in the 80's. I tried a number of driver/passenger communication systems. None of them were worth the powder to blow them up with. I would hope the technology has gotten a lot better since then. What recommendations do you all have?

    License Plate Access

I got my handicap license plate, but cannot figure out how to access the nuts on the bolts through the plate holder. There is insufficient clearance between the rear fender/extension to get a wrench in there. It would appear I have to remove the fender extension, but I don't see how. The manual...

    Show Chrome Passenger Armrest

My GF would like me to add passenger armrests. Has anyone installed these? They are considerably cheaper than the OEM armrests, but looks less sturdy. Are you happy with them? Do they interfere with passenger or driver mounting/dismounting? Thanks

    Grip Options - 2019 F3L

When I got my last motorcycle I replaced the stock grips with Kuryakin ISO grips. I just sliced off the old ones and glued on the new ones - easy peasy. That does not seem to be an option with the Spyder. I really have no use for heated grips, but I wouldn't want to slice any wiring trying to...

    Paint Job

I am sure some of you have had a complete re-paint on a Spyder F3L. What were some cost estimates for a top quality three level paint job - no fancy pinstriping or other enhancements. I really want to change the color of my ride. Baby blue just doesn't do it for me. Thanks.

    Need a New Grill

Bringing my 2019 Spyder F3L home for the first time, my motorcycle muscle memory kicked in at an inappropriate time. I relaxed as I was pulling into the garage. Barely moving, my feet went down and I reached for the hand brake. Of course the Spyder just kept on rolling and hit the front wall...

    Ball Joint Recall?

I was informed by my dealer of a recall to inspect the ball joints. They were inspected and pronounced fine. Anyone have any more information on this recall? I have a 2019 F3L. Is there a place I can a find a list of recalls for my model?

    Battery Charging Connector

Hi everyone, My 2019 Spyder F3L has a wire hanging loose in the Frunk for charging. With its cover removed, it has one electrode exposed, with the other recessed. I have a charger, but it only has those big alligator clips. Is there a way to use this charger with that connection - an adaptor...

    Installing Baja Ron Sway Bar

I am slowly getting used to my new 2019 F3L, but I still find it squirrely. I don't know if I will ever get comfortable with those off camber turns. They really tighten me up and there sure seem to be a lot more of them than I remember on my motorcycle rides. Anyway, from the comments on this...

    Pulled the Trigger

Well, I finally did it. The dealer was offering what I thought was an excellent price on their last 2019 F3 Limited so I finally joined the Spyder owner club. Due to arthritis and age, I know I have to give up on two wheels. I have only been out twice, not counting riding it home. Here are my...

    Decided to Pull the Trigger

Well, I have decided to make the switch to 3 wheels. I will be buying a new Spyder soon. I have pretty much decided on the F3 Limited, though the RT Limited is not yet out of the running. I would like to hear any recommendations about what I should have the dealer add beyond the basic setup. I...

Transition from 2 wheels to 3

I am not a Can-Am owner, but I am seriously considering one. I have been riding for over 50 years, but age and arthritis are catching up to me. I rode a Goldwing for about 25 years, but about 5 years ago it was clear that I needed to downsize. It just got too big and I could no longer get it up...
