• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    LED's

Has anyone used the 6 Watt Led bulbs sold by Custom Dynamics that are claimed to replace the MR16 Halogen bulbs currently used with the BRP fog lights. The BRP fog lights seem to pull a ton off the battery and would consider the Custom Dynamic LED'S if they would work as driving lights. Would...

    Perplexing symptom

On several occasions, after accelerating hard (full throttle) and then suddenly backing off the throttle, the Spyder shuts down as if the key were turned off or the kill switch was turned on. After a few seconds the thing will come back on sputter a few times and then run fine. The first time I...

    New Gen2 DPS

I just got the Spyder back after having the new Generation 2 DPS installed and have only had time to ride about 50 miles. I had no problem with one old one but the Gen 2 does feel a little smoother and perhaps a little more solid feeling at highway speeds. So far the improvements seem minimal...

    02 Mod

I have a question for those who have added the Evoluzione O2 modifier with the JB. The JB has a input from the O2 sensor and is part of the overall operation of the JB. How does the O2 mod interface with the JB and how do you install the O2 mod with the JB installed??:dontknow:

    ESI Options

I have most all of the ESI light options including the BRP Bag Lights and now the Day Runners. I have noticed that my signal lights operate (flash) faster than before any options were added, and at times will go into a strange irregular flash pattern. Has anyone has similar issues?

    RIDE-ON "vs" SLIME

I have read reports that Ride-on is much better than Slime (for various reasons) but my question is "WHY"? They seem to contain essentially the same type of ingredients. I am not advocating one over the other, just looking for reasons to purchase one over the other. Slime is readily available...

    White Christmas!!!!

I'm looking out my window at a record snowfall for this area. The official total (thus far) is 11 inches and that is in Oklahoma. I like the idea of a white Christmas but this is ridiculous. What the heck ever happened to Global Warmingnojoke Michael:dontknow:

    Crankcase breather filter

Does anyone know of a in-line foam filled filter that can be taken apart to change the foam when needed. I have used catch cans, and they work but take a lot of room and some leak. The in-line filter would be a much neater and simpler fix for the oil in the air box.:dontknow:I think with all the...

    Evoluzione Sway Bar

I just completed the installation of the Evoluzion Performance Sway Bar; a little bigger job than what I thought. Haven't had it out enough for a real test but it does feel more solid in the curves. I think it'll be a keeper. Michael:doorag:

    Air scoops

I noticed that the air vents located on the upper panel (just in front of the rider position) are pretty much in line with the K&N filter element on the KewlMetal performance air kit. It would be the perfect place for some type of air scoop to deliver cold air to the intake filter. Does anyone...

    KewlMetal performance air kit installed

I just finished the installation of the KewlMetal performance air kit. The kit is of very high quality and easy to install. I really don't know yet about the performance gain since I have only ridden in town for a few miles; but I can tell you from stoplight to stoplight it really seems strong...

    CHAD Question

I have noticed small swirl scratches or marks (almost looks like smudges) on my Chad. I have been very careful with the Lexan shield and have used no ammonia products and always use micro fiber towels when cleaning. Don't know why they are there; but does anyone know of a product that will...

    Signal light flasher

Where is the flasher located for the signal lights? Sometimes my signal lights seem to have a odd rhythm and not just a steady blink.:dontknow:Thought I should check the flasher relay, but can't find it. BTW; I have all the ESI light mods, and all LED lights. Michael:doorag:

    Foliage Tour

Just got in from a 550 mile foilage tour through South eastern Oklahoma and parts of Western Arkansas. This was the first time I have had to really give my new Toyo T1R a tryout in some real twisties, and I can tell you that it performed beautifully. As a matter of fact the Spyder performed...

    Speedometer Accuracy

A funny thing when I checked my speed with the GPS, at a true 70 mph, the speedometer reads approximately 68-69 mph. What's funny is that with the old tire it was a good 5 mph fast, now with the Toyo its just off 1-2 mph. Cool.:D Michael:doorag:
