• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Found a good cleaning product to take when travelling

I was mildly surprised when I was looking for an inexpensive detailer to clean up the bike a bit. I just washed it last week, but we had a spot of rain and I live on a dusty gravel road. I really don't like to waste my S-100 detailer unless the bike is fairly clean to begin with. I went with...

    7K since May...

Just returned from a trip to Chicago - about 2600 miles round trip. The heat in Chicago is way worse than it is out west here. I'll take our dry heat over humidity any day. This trip puts the odometer just over 7000 miles on my 2018 RTL, which I bought this year in May. So far, the biggest issue...

    New RT-622 Owner!

A shout out to Dave Cox - we got the deal done and I am now the proud owner of a 2014 RT-622 Trailer. I had to recruit my sister in Chicago to pick it up in Michigan. I'm lucky, this trailer already has the new-style wiring which will work with my 2018 RTL. I got a trip (Albuquerque, NM to) St...

    Bugs!

Wow. I just washed the RT two weeks ago and today I look in front by the radiator grills and BUGS! Buggedy-bugs everywhere! Hundreds of 'em. Yeech! Disgusting! Went to Lamonsters and ordered those kott grills, I did! I had saw them before and thought to myself, "naw, that's just got to be for...

    Mountain Switchbacks - be careful

Decided to take a ride up to the peak of Sandia Mountain on the spyder. This was following a short cloud burst, which I had figured would pass as they tend to do out here. Anyway, coming down the mountain I came across an ambulance, a pack of two-wheeler sport bikes, and the park ranger...
