• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

However, the last step in the maintenance manual states to “Validate the Low Pressure Switch”. Does this Validation step refer to using...

I looked in the Freedom trailers user guide concerning greasing the wheel bearings and found no mention of applying bearing grease as a maintenance item. It said the bearings and wheel hub are one assembly and to replace the bearings the entire hub must be replaced. Question; are the wheel...

Pairing BRP Connect/Go with Phone and intercom

When I purchased my 2019 F3L I paired my phone and Cardo intercom to BRP Connect. Because of various reasons I chose to use the Cardo intercom for music and radio and the rare phone call. I do not connect my phone to the bike via the hard wire in dash compartment. On the rare occasion I...

Should there be free-play in a Freedom Trailer Tongue?

Should there be up and down free play on the tongue of my Freedom trailer? The square steel tongue slides into a square steel frame channel and is attached with two bolts. When I lift up or push down on the tongue I get some movement. The two bolts are tight. It seems as if the rear tongue...

Anyone know who sells the Extra peg for mounting F3?

I remember seeing somewhere, maybe Lamonster, installing a single foot peg to use for mounting and dismounting the bike, specifically the F3. Anyone know who sells this extra peg and any comments concerning the effectiveness of this foot peg. Poasttown 2019 F3L

Turn signals are reversed on Freedom trailer

I purchased a Freedom trailer and a BRP wiring harness. All worked well except the trailers turn signals flash opposite the turn signals on my 2019 F3L. (trailer right turn signal and bikes left turn signal) The wiring harness is plug and play. I read somewhere this was a issue for someone else...

Can a BRP Trailer Hitch be fitted without removing rear tire?

Can the BRP trailer hitch be installed without removing the rear tire. Many of the non BRP hitches advertise that theirs can be installed without removing the rear tire making me think that the OEM hitch cannot. Poasttown 2019 F3L

Are all trailer hitches the same.

I don’t want to over simplify this topic or offend any of the forum sponsors. However, am I missing some important points in relation to the spyder hitches or are they all basically the same with the differences being one pieces vs two piece and basic design vs fancy design. This question...

Any issues getting parts for Bushtec Trailers air system?

For those of you with Bushtec trailers. From what I understand these trailers have an air shock/ air leveling system. I would think at some point this system would need repaired or replaced. I see a number of nice looking used Bushtec trailers for sale dating back 25 to 30 years. Is there an...

Tire Wear - how much more mileage can I expect?

I know! Not another question concerning tire wear. This question isn’t about best or worst tires or auto vs motorcycle tires. I’m also most appreciative of other members past comments concerning this. I’m seeing only 2.64 mm of tread left until the wear bar on my rear Kenda K9 on a 2019 F3L...

    Gas Cap Hissing

Has anyone experienced a hissing sound from the gas tank after shut down. Opening the gas cap stops the sound. This infrequently occurs, 2019 F3L. The last time with the tank on the empty side. My research on this site is relatively old, 2016, and this didn’t seem to result is much concern...

    Considering a trailer

I’m in the early stages of considering a pull behind trailer for my F3L. Two questions. With all the road debris, limbs, rocks, road kill, etc how do you avoid these items with an extra two tires? It seems as if the last two paths to avoid road obstructions (under the floor boards) is now in...

    Update on belt vibration

Thought I would give an update on my 2019 F3L belt vibration. Quick history; at highway speeds (70 to 80 mph) I would get considerable vibration and at about 75 mph it was so bad that I had to back off the throttle which was a serious concern when in the passing lane. I don’t do highways or...

What Black Plastic Polish do you recommend?

I did a quick search and didn’t see anything specific on this topic. The black gloss plastic trim, 2019 F3L, on the dash and around speakers is extremely susceptible to lite scratches. I have looked at various compounds/products and almost all indicate that it shouldn’t be used on plastic...

    Tire wear bars

I have a few questions concerning the original Kenda tires on my 2019 F3L. I’m seeing the wear bars, I’m assuming wear bars, there isn’t an indicator on the sidewall as I would expect. Sure looks as if there is a lot of tread remaining once the bars are reached. Q1. Is there a reason why so...
