• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone know a way of Finding more legroom on a Ryker?

I'm looking for a way to get a little more legroom. If the pegs were down an inch or two and forward two or three inches I would be feeling much better on longer rides. I've got them pushed all the way forward right now. The floorboards pictures I've seen look like they ride at the same...

Looking for hand guards ( the less expensive kind )

Starting to get a little chilly and was thinking about finding some hand guards to try and keep the fingers a little warmer this winter. Any ideas that would be less expensive than the OEM two part setup? Tons of hand guards listed on ebay but I'm not sure what would fit our Rykers. Thanks...

    Call from BRP?

Had a couple of calls from BRP that I missed the past couple of days. Called them back this morning and the guy had no idea why they were calling me. He thinks it has something to due with their "outbound project". Anybody else gotten calls the past couple of days? And if so what did they...

How many miles to be even??

Was thinking about this as I was going down a nice little two lane today. Let's just say that down the road your trade in value was $0 and you couldn't even sell your Ryker for a $1. How many miles would you have to have on your Ryker before you would figure you got back to even with the cost...

    shock adjustment

Ok, I have a 900 and am thinking about adjusting the back shock. I was thinking about putting it on two or three. I need to know how to adjust it step by step if someone would be so kind. This is my first non car and have never tried to adjust shocks on anything. Second or perhaps first is...

Summer riding / mesh overpants advice

With the crappy weather I need a little distraction. With that in mind I'm starting my research for some summer mesh overpants. I think I want overpants but willing to look into most anything at this point. Let's say riding will be in the 85 to 95 degree range. Would like some with knee...

High 40's, sunny, and a great 50 mile run around.

So Wednesday schools were out for extreme cold conditions and yesterday the weather broke and I was back on the Ryker. Crazy. Went exploring down the road to a little town never been to. Round trip was only about 50 miles or so. Got to run it up around 60 - 65 mph for a ways. No problems...

How many to be a Winner?

It seems like people generally feel that the Ryker is or will be a winner this year. What's your guess on how many Rykers need to be sold this first year for BRP to think it's a winner?

    Disc lock??

What are you doing if anything about securing the Ryker when out and about? There is no steering lock and the parking brake is just a flip. I was looking into maybe a good quality disc lock. Wanted to see what others are thinking before I decide. Thanks.

900 blue haze.. now at home

So I picked up my Ryker this afternoon. A little 50 mile detour through the country and now we're home. This is my first non-car vehicle, so don't have any past experience to compare it to... so all I can say for sure is it's a blast. If the weather holds looking forward to taking it out...
