• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any Winter or perm Texan Spyder/Ryker riders in the RGV area?

Not exactly a sighting, but related - We winter in the Rio Grande Valley. Last year I only saw 7 Spyders while there from December to March. So are there any other Winter or permanent Texan Spyder/Ryker riders in the area? Any organized or even disorganized meetups in the RGV?

Camping with the Spyder and the Spyder

Went camping near Owensville, MO for the last 2 weeks. Put close to 200 miles a day on the RTL on some of the curviest ribbon roads (that's what my wife calls roads that are up and down hills) in some of the most scenic parts of the Ozarks. Lots of wineries, some breweries, Octoberfest in...

Missouri most likely helmet optional in August.

The Missouri General Assembly has passed a large transportation bill which includes helmet modification and will go to Governor Mike Parson. He will have 45 days to veto it (At this point this seems to be not likely, the bill is clean, and the Governor has said he will support helmet...

    1 purchase, support 2 businesses

After a ride today as I was pulling into the garage, Gloria was standing behind the trike and decided we needed more lights at the rear. We went on line entered "Spyder RT rear auxiliary lights" and found a few choices. Spyderpops has a good LED kit that has run, turn and brake lights, with a...

    Whats in your toolkit?

Another thread is asking about the location of the toolkit, and it was noted it is a bit basic and of somewhat dubious quality. So that got me wondering, what do you have in your toolkit? Just the one that came with the trike, added some items, or completly replaced?

    Spyderflap travels, installed and thougnts.

Seems this could be in a couple of topics. Hope this is the right place. Ended up taking a ride in the rain a while ago, and she in the Admiral's seat didn't like the water and road grime on the back of the RT. She didn't like it much on the back of her, either. When searching for Spyder RT...

Spyderpops BRT rear light kit with no turn function?

We are great believers about being seen, our Goldwing trike has been described as lit up like a Christmas tree. On our 2018 RTL we have the front bumpskid with LED lights we keep set to act like a headlight modulator, and we always have the fog lights on. We are planning on getting a Spyderpops...

    Rear trunk handle?

On our GL1500 Goldwing trike, I had a trunk handle I won on the Trike Talk forum. When we got the GL1800 trike I moved the handle to the lower trunk on the conversion kit: Really helps getting in and closing the trunk, especially with gloves on. We are selling the Goldwing trike, and I wanted...

BRP Connect with Sena 20s - Why?

Had this posted on a different thread that was asking about they how to connect Sena headsets to an RTL. Didn't want to hijack the thread, so I deleted and reposted here: We just got a 2018 RTL. We have had Sena 20s for a few years, and really like them and how they work. The 20S pairs with the...

    Fused electrical distribution block

Bunch of mods listed in my profile, the one that is a DIY is a fused distribution block under the zippered lining in the frunk of our RT limited. I have run this in some fashion on 8 or 9 former motorcycles to run accessories directly off the battery. It is controlled by the ignition with a...

New here, new Spyder RT Limited

Didn't see a new members intro forum, (point me to one if I am just missing it) and just got to be able to register here after lurking for a month. We got an RT Limited about a month ago. Already have a bunch of mods because, well "Thy ride shall not mimic another's". Even have a name for it...
