• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Please see the attached photo. If you have an F3 with an Ultimate "Tall Boy" seat, I need the measurement as shown in the photo. From the rear of the fuel tank filler ring to the rear of the seating surface where the seam for the butt rest starts - also year and model of your F3. I've read...

    Honor our Veterans

Took my annual ride through Florida National Cemetery a few days before Christmas to honor our vets and had the cameras rolling. Mostly unedited and probably some mis-information so just take it for what it's worth. Hope you enjoy it. This is an "unlisted" video on YouTube and I may take the...

    Dealer Recommendation - or not . . .

Has anyone on this forum patronized Barney's of Brooksville, FL for service on their Spyder or tire changes? They are a full service CanAm dealer plus three brands of rice burners. Thinking of possibly taking my Spyder there but I've never heard anything about them, good or bad, I did stop in...

F3 Passenger Sensor and one piece aftermarket seats

Found a few threads on the passenger sensor but can't seem to get an answer about this. I'm considering a one-piece Ultimate seat but am worried how it may affect the passenger sensor. The Ultimate instructions simply show to remove the seat lock pin from the OEM seat and reinstall on the...

Question about Ultimate Tall Boy seat for F3L

First, I have previously owned an Ultimate seat for my Honda Goldwing, am familiar with them and would like to stay with what I know. Additionally, their Florida show room is an easy mornings drive from my location. I am now considering another Ultimate Tall Boy for my 2019 Spyder F3Ltd as I...

Are Kenda K20 Kanines installed as OEM tires on the 2020 Spyders?

I know I've read this somewhere but can't locate the specific thread. Can any of you 2020 RT owners verify whether or not the new Kenda K20 Kanines are being factory installed on the new 2020 Spyder RT? If not, then what? Thanks

    Garmin Observation

Like many, I've owned numerous Garmin sat navs over the years including both Nuvi's and Zumo's, eight to be exact. Bought my first one about twenty-five years ago and just kept upgrading through the years. Although I occasionally use Sygic Maps with BRP Connect, I also have a Garmin...

    F3 Limited Trailering Cover

I will need to trailer my Spyder at some point in the future and would like to cover the bike while traveling. BRP sells a "Trailering Cover", part no. 219400768 (see pic) that looks like it would do the job. However, I believe that I've read somewhere that it was patterned to fit over the F3...

One year on the road. Is is just me ?

Well, yesterday, January 25th was the one-year anniversary that I took delivery of my 2019 F3 Limited. I've been a member of this forum since August of 2018 so I'm fairly familiar with the troubles that some have reported. Early on I was extremely worried about the reliability of the Spyder...

    The Elephant in My Room

I’ve now been driving a Spyder since mid-January and can honestly say that I really enjoy it. The reasoning I used when I converted from two wheels to three is still valid and was a good decision. Can’t fall over, reverse gear, don’t have to muscle 950 pounds around anymore, etc. For a man my...

    F3 Drink Holder - Take a Look

Needed a drink bottle holder for my F3 but didn't want a handlebar mount, been there-done that. Looked at the Lamonster unit, impressive but expensive - kudos to Lamont however. Having a mechanical engineering background it was no problem designing my own. Some of you may be interested. It...

Factory Cruise Control . . Baaad JuJu !

Discovered a feature of the factory cruise control today which could have gotten me into trouble. Had the cruise set at 65mph on a four lane divided highway, in the right lane, coming up on slower traffic, needed to move into the left lane and pass, started to move over into the left lane...

    F3 Ltd Rear Fender Extension

Like many others, I carry a tubeless tire repair kit in my saddlebag (which I've had to use twice on other bikes). After looking at my rear tire yesterday I realized that if I had to plug it due to a puncture access is very limited. The answer, remove the rear fender extension which gives you...

    LED Headlight Question

I recently installed LED headlights in my F3Ltd. WOW, what a difference. I looked at numerous H4 LED bulbs before selecting the GENSSI LED headlight kit, part no. G7-ELT-H4 (see pic). Most LED H4 9003 bulbs I looked at do not include the circled components (see pic). Most just have the cable...

    Lamonster Frame Mount Drink Holder

Seriously considering the Lamonster frame mount drink holder http://www.lamonstergarage.com/can-am-spyder-f3-fmb-bottle-holder-lamonster/ but would like honest opinions first. My biggest concern after viewing the installation video is removing the frame bolt and possible re-alignment issues...

LED Headlight Kit - Has Anyone Used This Kit ?

Saw this LED headlight kit on Ebay for $64.95 and was wondering if any of the lighting gurus on this forum were familiar with it. I've thought about the Lamonster kit but am generally unhappy with some of the reviews I've read, mainly to do with the lighting pattern of the OEM reflectors not...

    Fault Code B102F

Showing fault code B102F on my 2019 F3 Ltd. Service manual says the B prefix has to do with the body including luggage compartments. Anybody know what this specific code is? Also, the turn signals are hyper-flashing. Two flashes at normal rate then hype-flashing. Been doing this since day...
