• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Frunk Cover (Bonnet) latch redesign

Hi guys, I thought I had read a while ago that the bonnet latch was redesigned but cannot find anything written. My fears were realised tonight when I finally got my replacement bonnet after 7 months of waiting for a warranty replacement and there is no way it will latch closed. With a quick...

    More cosmetic issues

Just wanting to see if it's just me or if others are seeing this issue... Now, it's wierd as it's only happening on the left hand side. The black "screening" on the Can-Am logo on the chrome trim fitted to the oil tank cover is coming off in rather large peices, and the "Spyder RT-S" logo on...

Analogue temp and fuel gagues... disconnect

Has anyone tried, or does anyone know if you disconnect the analogue gagues on a RT-S, do they just appear back on the LCD? I just can't figure why we have a great colour screen in the middle of the cluster and the fit 2 analogue guages as a premium option? strange. To be honest, I'd rather...

Spyder Assmbly Manual (out of the crate)

Has anyone out there in Slyderlovers land got or have access to the pages that come in the crate with a RT-S that tell the shop how to assemble? Mine went in for it's 1000k service yesterday, and to have the remote frunk release and frunk light fixed (which hasn't worked from new) but to no...

Remote "frunk" release and "frunk" light

I can only assume that our spider was assembled by the same guy who assembled the demo unit we rode 3 weeks ago as exactly the same things dont work... the "frunk" release and light. I have referred to the other thread on the release and adjusted everything nicely so there is minimal effort with...

In spite of all the "NEGATIVE" posts on the SE5

I have a late 08 built SE5 and have never had a problem. She is only 2 months old but already has 6500 kilometers on the clock, 1000 of those done last weekend on anything from smooth highway to rough backroads, and sunshine to torretial downpour. Oh, and I ride hard, usually with a...

Calling all Scorpio SR-i900 owners... placement help

Hi to all that reply, I am looking for a place to fit the MCM and above the battery seems to be the logical option, however, this would require the MCM to be mounted upside down... has anyone else done this, and if so, does the shock sensor/accelerometer still function properly? Second... the...

    Greetings from Down Under

G'day everyone, only had her for 4 days now, she's only number 8 sold in South Australia but I beleive it was good move. Traded in the K1200LT, lost a few luxuries, but the Spyder is the most fun I've had with my clothes on in a long time. So far, trunk liner, tank bag, back rest, Garmin Quest...
