• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Surprised on recent ride

Over the last week my wife and I decided that we wanted to spend some time away from where we live and get away. We decided to go camping and riding in West Virginia. It has been a while since I have been in West Virginia and geez - it was absolutely beautiful. Just a landscape that I could...

1330 and Gas Mileage Review - What's yours? Anyone else tracking theirs?

I have been called many things before but one the best was "Stat-Nazi." I have a love for data and information that can be derived from that. With that preface, I have been collection data from every fuel stop that has been made with my 2018 RTL. Trip length, total mileage, cost per gallon...

2019 Rolex 24 at Daytona - Ride to and from Daytona

Just curious about how many Spyder Ryders are also SportsCar racing fans. I make the pilgrimage to Daytona late in January for the Rolex 24 (26 - 27), the BMW Challenge (25th) and all of the support races / practice / qualifying on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Always dependent on...

    Lift / Hauling Question

We are in the process of preparing to "go on the road" for a few years. Currently the 'rig' setup is a 45' Tiffin Coach and my Veloster in tow. I have seen a few coaches with a dual motorcycle lift on the rear and towing a car. - Is there a motorcycle lift that will accommodate the Spyder...

    Manual Downshift Issue

I have a 2018 RTL - it has right at 3000 miles on it. Last week I started experiencing a quirky issue when attempting to downshift or put the Spyder in reverse. When slowing or wanting a lower gear while riding the twisties or mountains I am one of those that will downshift. The lever...

Questions for the experts - not the wannabes at my dealership

Gurus and fellow Ryders, I have had my 2018 RTL about a month now. I have right a 1000 miles on it. I also really love the Spyder. What I do not love is my dealer / service center (who shall remain nameless). Their "Master Technician" is a nice guy but seems technically clueless. I...

    “Survey Says ...”

With so many Ryders here I have been curious as to how you use your Spyders. (Before anyone says it ... yes I know you ryde it). If have a moment let me and others know how you like to use and abuse your machines. (1) Commuter - to and from work. (2) Day rydes - start at home / end at home ...

    DELMARVA (Eastern Shore) Ryders

Hello Fellow Delmarva Ryders, I know that this section of the forum seems ... let’s say ... dead - but here goes nothing. The Delmarva offers a great deal to Ryders - loads of great backroads, always have waterfront scenery and some great people. Are there any Delmarva Ryders that are...

    Pre-Ride Squeak - Rear Suspension

Another quick question from the newbie owner to the experts. I have just purchased a 2018 RTL - that I actually love. BUT I have one issue that I cannot figure out. Pre-ride, before the key is inserted and turned on - once you place you feet on the boards to get on - there is a noticeable...

BRP Connect and Sena 20s - Does anyone have a 'successful' configuration

I have trolled through the forums looking at other posting regarding BRP Connect, its software limitations, and the difficulties of use / use with other products. My specific question is - Does anyone currently have a successful configuration with BRP Connect and Sena 20s? For us we can use...
