• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's the one thing you think is Useless Junk on your Spyder?

What's the one thing you wish Can Am would have just left off your bike or made it optional so you couldve just said no? I'll start - for me, I just don't see the point of having a sound system at all. I've been using in-helmet systems since the 80s. Maybe just optional for those who don't use...

Unwanted burnouts with new tire - anyone else? Advice??

So I just put on my first General Altimax RT43 after having 2 Kendas. I was hoping to be able to get a machine balance but even with the bearings removed the wheel just wont fit on any of the machines at the 3 shops I went to, so I did it myself with the axle on jackstands. Next, I tried to...

What do you think - will changing rear tire AND bearings allow balancing?

I’m in the middle of swapping out my rear tire and thinking since I’m changing the bearings at the same time that the wheel would fit on a standard balancer machine.Has anyone done this? Also I’ve been concerned about Little Rock’s getting trapped under the air bag so I fashioned a piece of tin...

    More tire frustration

Ok,my 17RT has Vredensteins on the front which seem to be holding up well, although I just had to get a Roadforce balance job done in order to get rid of a pesky vibration problem that Ive just been living with for the last 13k miles.Last year I got a Kanine Kr20 on the back which has been worn...

    Rough ride

Ive been thinking about getting a set of Elkas for the front of my 17 rtl,Ive already got the sway bar but I still feel that in high speed turns if you make a slight correction it kinda wants to over correct and then your not holding that nice steady line thru the turn and the bike is swaying...

    My Kanine review

Just got back from 2100 mile ride in Southwest Virginia and Kentucky.I rode Back of Dragon,Trail of Dragon, and just about every other twisty road down there.Went 550 miles straight to get there and felt that the new rear Kanine was noticeably smoother than the original Kenda.BTW I have had...

    Stupid Belt

Just ranting here.I put a new Kanine rear tire on yesterday, that was the easy part.Setting the belt tension and getting the belt to ride where I wanted was way too much trouble.Seems like the slightest adjustment you make has it moving over too far.Seems like if they had to put a belt on it then...

    Front sprocket access

Has anyone figured out a way to make the small black cover that blocks getting at the front sprocket on an RT easier to remove? It really isn't held on by much at all but to get it off you need to pull several other panels off.If it was easier then checking the sprocket and belt or tensioner...
