• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    RT rear Car Tires

Through the years I have read about people installing 215/60/15 tires on their RT Spyders. Would be nice, if possible to have comments posted describing the makes, likes, dislikes, mileage attained, etc. Thanks in advance.

    Just one question

Does anyone with a 2014 or 2015 RT have anything they don't like about it? I have a 2010 with 55,000 miles that still runs good but was given a great trade in offer and need a little push.

    Well, that's off my shoulders.

Finally got a chance to see and sit on the F3! Took less than 2 minutes to say, "Nope, not for me!" Jennifer sat on the passenger seat portion and she said, "There is no way I will ride behind you on this!" I am glad that the F3 is getting so great reviews, but it's not for us. We are long...

    Glynn Knight

Glynn Knight, Cypress, TX passed away 5 December, 2014 from cancer. Jennifer and I met him on our journey in 2009 and once again in July 2014. He was an early 2008 Spyder GS owner and later got an RT. A real gentleman, a quiet, gentle giant.

    Our 2010 RT

Our 2010 RT SM5 turned 52,000 miles last Thursday. Saturday I had a Kumho installed after 16,000 miles on the one before. Checked the brakes. The rear brakes (original) were less than or about half worn. Front brakes (original), about the same. This Spyder has just been awesome for us...

A message to Fun Bike Center sent on their FB site

Just want to let you know that my wife and I were there today. We went in and went straight to the Spyders (about 1:30). We looked at, sat on, walked around the 2 black RT Spyders (one basic and one Limited) and the flat yellow one and the one with the GIVI bags. NO ONE, and I mean NOT ONE of...

No More Wake-ups, No More Waiting

In about 45 minutes we will be on the road. Not much else to say at this time. We took about a 2 hour nap, so that's about as good as it gets. From now on it's gonna be grits and stamina! El Paso in about 12 hours. After that it's anyone's guess. El Paso is about the half-way point.

    One more wake-up

One more wake-up and the ride begins. This will really be a challenge for both of us. We will have to ride 4000+ miles in six days. It will all be interstate, but still, it will be a long time in the saddle. Really getting excited about it. 50th reunion of class of 1962, Kaplan High, Kaplan...

    Oct 17th

And the count down begins. On Oct 17th, Jennifer (Kjen) and I will leave Jacumba, CA for a trip that will take us to Louisiana, Illinois and back in 12 days. I am guessing it will be over 4000 miles of travel. What will make it hectic will be a 3 day stay in Louisiana, and a 3 day stay in...
