• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FS: Show Chrome Trailer Hitch and Wiring Harness for RT

As shown. Well, I mean, I'd like to show them but apparently the files are too large. Here are some links to what I'm selling, feel free to DM me and perhaps we can chat over email or something. I installed them on my 2014 RT SE6, but only used them for test rides. Best of intentions I guess...

Just bought a 2014 RT SE6. Few questions

I had a 2010 RT-S SE5, which I sold about a year ago. That one didn't really thrill me, and my wife (the reason we got it) decided she didn't want to drive it any more, she was content with the Piaggio MP3 500 when we ride two-up. Well, being female (human?) she changed her mind and now wants...

How much $$ to change rear tire (2010 RT-S SE5)

I recently bought a new rear tire for my Spyder, and amidst several other summer projects thought I'd have it installed by a dealer instead of doing it myself. The quote I got back was 2 hours of shop time billed out at $150/hour, so $300 for labor only. I have changed a couple...

    Who changes their own tires?

I do, on all my scooters past and present. Changed the rear on my Piaggio MP3 500 last weekend. And changed the fronts on my Spyder today. Pretty much like a scooter tire just a little bigger. No more difficult for being larger, not any less so either. One interesting (to me) thing: my Marc...

Question about difficulty shifting (and a lift)

I got my used 2010 Spyder RT-S SE5 about a year ago, with about 12,500 miles on it. Since then I put about 2,000 miles on it, and have found it sometimes difficult to shift when neutral is involved. I have not noticed any issue with shifting up when accelerating. However, when it is hot, after...

Tire Question - Yeah I searched. 2010 RT-S, what to get?

OK, I'll start by asking you all not to hurt me. Anyway, been looking for new tires for my Spyder, a 2010 RT-S that I bought used last year. Turns out it has the original tires on it, so they need to be changed now, or soon, just due to time. It has ~14,000 miles on it BTW. The current tires...

New-to-me Spyder, won't start after a week sitting

Hey all, so that new Spyder I got last Sunday won't start this morning. I rode it home from buying it, ~150 miles, and everything went fine. It was cold out so I had the grip heaters on all the way. It sat for 6 days, and today I went out to start it and it won't start up. Kill switch is 'on'...

Is there such a thing as Freecycling here on Spyderlovers.com?

The cup holder has gone to its new home. Hi all, new guy here. Just bought a used 2010 RT-S SE5, and rode it around 150 miles to get it home. To Wisconsin. Anyway, wondering if there is such a thing as 'freecycle' here-abouts. Point being, basically giving stuff away to each...
