• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Towing with excessive tongue weight

What happens if you tow a trailer with excessive tongue weight? I have two major trips planned with my Lees-ure Lite. I went on an overnight trip a few days ago to work out bugs. After many hours I have them all corrected except excessive tongue weight. Despite my best efforts I could not get...

Riding with no air in air suspension on F3-T

What is bad about having no air in the air suspension? I am going on two major trips before I can get my leaky air bag fixed. What exactly should I be on the look out for besides a bit rougher ride? Thanks.

Need hitch and harness advice for Lee-sure Lite

I took advantage of Lee-sure Lite's NAFTA sale and ordered a trailer. What type of hitch and wiring harness/controller should I get? I have an F3-T, and I know it takes it own hitch. From past posts it looks like the Can-Am hitch is the way to go. However the dealer says it comes with a...

    Tires on a Lees-ure lite

I have decided to give up on a used Lees-ure lite and purchase a new one thanks to their NAFTA sale. I have heard multiple times I should get the wider tires because they will handle better. The owner said they only offer the wider tires because people want them, not because there is real...

Installation cost for Baja Ron Sawy Bar

Is it reasonable for a dealer to charge me for two hours labor to install a Baja Ron saw bar on a F3-T? At the Nor-Cal rally I was told installation on an F3-T is much easier and quicker than on an RT, and takes about 45 minutes if you know what you are doing. My is offering to buy me one...

    Pictures of Rox Riser

I have a 2016 F3-T SE6. I am asking somebody to post pictures of Rox Risers on a similar handlebar setup. I have a LaMonster F3 top cap with an X-Grip, and I am trying to picture how it will work with risers. I love the top cap since it allows me to put my cell phone (GPS) where it does not...

    How dangerous is road debris?

How dangerous is road debris.? After many years of uneventful motorcycle rising, I made two major swerves on my Spyder on the same day. The first was for three chunks of semi tires in the road and the second was for a 8 foot long 4x4 perpendicular to the road. I had plenty of reaction time...

    Handlebar and fender

I want to: 1. Adjust my handlebars upward. 2. Remove and reinstall my front fenders. A few questions. 1. I have found the torque sequence for the handlebars, but not amount of torque I should use on those or the fenders. Can anybody tell me what those are? 2. Should I use Loctite when I...

Low budget hi viz suggestions for an F3-T suggestions

Does anybody have suggestions on how to make an F3-T more visible, especially when viewed from side mirrors on cars, with a maximum budget of $200? I prefer things that looks OK, but anything easily removable is fair game. Anything electric would need to be installed by the dealer. Since...

    Bumpy curves

I bought a 2016 F3-T in October. After 1400 miles I thought I was feeling comfortable on curves until I retried some curves near my house that are bumpy. I still find my weight getting tossed around, screwing up my trajectory and getting me real nervous. I probably rode these curves 40-50...

F3-T with an antenna with an MBL Innovations Luggage Rack

Has anybody installed a MBL Innovations luggage rack on a 2016 F3-T with an antenna? I 100% give up on trying to figure out what to do with the antenna with an MBL Innovations luggage rack. Right now I have the antenna sticking up through the luggage rack, which makes the luggage rack fairly...

    Increasing loudness of F3-T

I went to ride my F3-T Sunday and it got so loud that I quit riding since my ears were ringing even with earplugs. I tape a decibel meter to my bike and just going up and down the street, never exceeding 25 mph, it got up to 102 decibels. I only have 250 miles on it, but a lot of stop and go...

Why are there still 2016's for sale new?

I just looked at the website for one dealer and saw they have seven brand new 2016's for sale. My dealer has three and one demo, though they are down from seven when I bought mine in October and the first dealer is asking $2000 more per vehicle. This gets me nervous. Have Spyders simply quit...

Choosing a handlebar - What should I do?

I have an F3-T and extended my foot pegs. The web site says I should get the handlebars for a taller person. I am going to wait until I have more miles before a final decision, but I think I want to exchange my handlebars. 1. Is there a way to cross reference the Can-Am handlebar to a third...

    One more thread about towing

One things that has been made clear to me about towing with a Spyder is to allow extra room for braking. Two more questions (I really do not want to regret spending $1500 to $6000 on a trailer). 1. Is the extra room for braking needed for overall stopping distance or because of potential jack...

    Towing with an F3-T

Is towing a trailer with a 2016 F3-T a bad idea, despite the 400 pound towing capacity? Eventually I want to get a pop up trailer (no lectures about how after market trailers voids the warranty). Random thoughts: 1. My head is spinning after reading through the long segment on the front...

When did you use the nanny?

I have read multiple posts from people who have had the nanny kick in. What EXACTLY were you doing when it happened? For example instead of saying going too fast around a curve, say something like doing 65 in a curve marked for 45 mph. Also did you have a passenger or lots of luggage? I look...

Random comment about extending foot rests

I stripped a bolt and wound up paying the shop to do it, but I found the results from extending foot rests very interesting. I expected the increase in comfort. What I did not expect was how much it improved handling since it made it much easier to push on the foot rests.

Thumbs down on Factory Luggage Rack - Any suggestions?

I didn't ask enough questions when I ordered a luggage rackwith my new F3-T. I am asking for suggestions as to what to do. Are there goodsized bags that would work here, or an aftermarket luggage rack that will workwith the antennae, or...? I have two major complaints: 1. Very little room. Not...

    Installing a belt guard on a F3-T

How hard is it to install a belt guard? Especially do I need to put the Spyder on a lift? Just wondering if I should order it and have it installed while I wait for the other things to be installed on my new Spyder. While I found lots of posts convincing me to get a belt guard, I could not...
