• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dealer in Virginia area with lots of Spyders + how do you get on your Spyder?

I've finally convinced my husband that it's time that he joined me in Spyder ownership. I actually have a couple of questions. First, I love the riding position on my F3-S, but know that not everyone feels that way, so I think he should try several models before making his choice. The problem is...

    Installing Shad LED Brakelight Kit

This is going to be my first foray into wiring, so I've been trying to find a video to follow. I've just installed a Baker Built rack and the Shad 58X case, in preparation for a cross country trip later this month. Since I read a few comments that the rack could block the Spyder brake lights. I...

Advice needed for new communication system

So, my husband and I are about to do a 3 week trip out west, and are discussing updating our ~5 year old communications system. We're on 2 rides (my F3-S and his 2 wheeler) and rarely separate by more than half a mile or so. We've been using a Scala Q3 system, which does work, but even after...

    Driver backrest for 2017 F3-S?

I think my next purchase will be a driver backrest for my F3-S. I sat on another 2017 with the BRP backrest installed and I liked the feel, but >$400! Yack! I'll spend that much if the BRP is the best choice, but are there others that give comparable comfort/support for a lower price? Thanks!

    Question about add-on electrical items

I've had the driving lights and heated grips installed at my dealer and I've got a question. The on-off buttons are always lighted, so I can't tell by looking if the driving lights are off or on (same with the heated grips). Is it normal that the buttons are always lighted?

    Driver backrest recommendations? '17 F3-S

My HD sold and I'm ready to accessorize. One thing on my list is a driver backrest. I've looked (on line only) at a couple of aftermarket ones, and the Can-Am one. Does anyone have a recommendation? If I get the Can-Am one, I'll likely have my dealer install it, but I'd probably install if it's...

    150 miles on F3-S

Today was my third time on my new Spyder, and the ryde is improving. After 12 years on 2 wheels, there is definitely a learning curve moving to 3 wheels. The information here has been really useful, especially the Do's and Do Nots for new Spyder owners. I did read the manual before I started...
