• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How my Solar Panels are doing.

Just wanted to give an update on how our Solar Panels are doing. The following shows what our "budget payments" were back starting in June of 2014 and what they were reduced to after the solar panels were installed in late July. We still had the $190 budget payment to pay in August and then...

John Trooper and Elka are the very best!!!

I have had an issue with my rear Elka shock since it was installed on my Spyder back a couple of years ago. I could not get it adjusted right even after talking to the dealer and John himself about what I needed to do to get it right. Also I discovered another issue with rear shock bolt....it...

    Question about an oil leak

I have had my 2008 GS since April 8, 2008 with around 95,500 miles on it and never had an oil leak before. I noticed though a week or so ago that I have a rather large oil spot under the right hand side as you sit on the bike right under the motor, about a foot or so in diameter. I have had it...

    On Firefox.....

....Why am I having a problem with resolution. I have to go into control panel to "appearance and personalization" to "adjust screen resolution" from 1280x600 to 1366x768 and hit apply and save and then"ok", but it keeps reverting back to the 1280x600. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

How many Spyders over 100,000 miles with original motor?

As I am approaching 93,000 miles on my Spyder I got to wondering how many people have seen over 100,000 miles on their Spyder with the original motor? Lamont told me at Spyderquest that I was one of the only ones he knows of with that many miles on the original motor, which kind of surprised...

    Lost a camera at Spyderquest

Just wondering if any one might have found my blue Kodak camera? I believe I left it at the RV Park pavilion Thursday night. We were sitting at the first table in the center up front by the stage. I believe I just walked off and left it sitting on the table. Thanks for any info.

    Laser Alignment available at Spyderquest

I just had my Spyder "Laser Aligned" and what a difference it made in handling. My bike had developed some wandering issues, at certain times depending on road surface and cross winds. I had watched the video on here about the person who has developed this technology and I was able to contact...

    Think I screwed up!!

I noticed this afternoon that my running lights were on. Went over to the bike and sure enough the key was on, but I don't remember turning the key on. I did push the bike out of the garage because I was sharpening my mower deck blades and didn't want to get the dust and grime all over the...

    A freeky thing happened yesterday

We were on our way to a PGR mission yesterday and had just left our house when I must have hit something in the road in a dip where the town had replaced a drainage pipe last summer. They have never fixed the blacktop since they had it dug up and it is quite annoying to go over that dip...
