• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Strange thing happening...

OK, this is weird and I am curious to see if anyone else is having this issue... I have a '13 STS SE5, I have noticed that my license plate is being bent. I know that I have not backed into anything, nothing has been thrown up by the rear tire. The tag is in the stock location on the rear fender...

    Anyone have this issue?

Went for a ride yesterday, beautiful day, 60° sunny, blue skies... I thought I would try out my new jacket, Hi-Viz Yellow 3/4 length. Well, when the sun was shining on the jacket it was extremely difficult to see the dash board, the digital speedometer was about the only thing I could make out...

    Vibration question...

I was riding on the Interstate the other day and was sort of letting the Spyder run a bit, as I approached 90 mph I felt a vibration, I slowed down and it stopped. Is this the vibration that can be fixed by installing the Belt Tensioner??

    Spyder Cat bypass question...

While I understand the benefit of the bypass, I am concerned about the law. I understood that removal of a catalytic converter from a car or light truck was a $10,000 fine levied by the EPA. Are motorcycles exempt? Hopefully yes. I posted this separately as not to hijack another thread. Thanks...

    New Spyder review...

The February issue of Car and Driver has a road test of a SE5 Spyder. I thought it was OK, but sort of non-committal. Wes :dontknow:

    Spydee on TV

I was watching MOTORWEEK on SPEED this morning and during the intro footage they have a few brief seconds of a Spyder from the road test they did last month. It was long enough to say, "What was that?" I was glad to see the exposure is growing. Wes :2thumbs:

    Spyder on TV

I was watching American Thunder on SPEED last night, they were doing a piece about the Love Ride for M.D. charity run in L.A. The camera shot was from an overpass showing all the bikes passing under and there in the middle of all the choppers was a bright yellow Spyder! It was a brief shot but...
