• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    1330cc 2020 RT 1st oil change at 1600 miles

So I know the 1st service is at 3000k miles, But I don't play well with that. A bit old school I guess so I had changed my oil at 1600 miles. And I find this (see pics) a drain plug that looks like Supermans man cave. All kinds of particles on the plug. Then I thought is this normal? Why would I...

    2nd NEW TIRE

My Yokohoma S Drive is very tired at 12k miles so I am now putting on a Kumo ecsta. Hopefully to get a bit more miles out of it. Also I changed out the rear bearings and seals and rear brake pads. I had to make my own tool to get that weird nut off.

    998cc Monster FI ECM upgrade

I finally did it and spent $385 on the ECM Flash. I almost backed out doing this as I have a 2012 RT and I had to do a lot of digging to get to the ECM. 3 weeks later its all back together without any extra parts or bolts left over. The hype is all TRUE. This thing rips. I am totally amazed...

    Trailer size for 2

Has anyone found out the perfect trailer size to put 2 Spyders on the smallest trailer? I don't want a huge trailer. I assume 1 would be backwards so I would remove the windscreen.

    Back from Sturgis

Well Im back from Sturgis and totaled 2400 miles put on the Spyder. Rode everyday and waved at a lot of other Spyders. Weather was great. Only problem I had was the belt tensioner spring broke and caused the bad vibe to come back. My gas mileage was all over the place. Worst was 22 MPG and...

KENDA TIRES ARE THE BEST--HANDS DOWN--

I can't believe people would complain about Kenda tires. They are the best thing since sliced bread. Just look at how these are holding up. My tomato plants are extremely happy, and so am I. - - - - -

    Critter crossing

This is a question to the well seasoned rider. I'm still a newbe Spider rider and almost had a situation with a critter crossing the road. If there wasn't anyway to keep from running over a critter how would it be done? What I mean is try to strattle the front and back wheel or just nail it...

    Replacing Front tires 14"

OK spyder people. I have been searching tire talk here for a couple of weeks now, and I see all the tire replacements for the 15" size. I have a 2012 RTS with 14" tires and there are VERY little options that I can find. I have bought (not yet installed) Yokohama S Drive 205/55/15 for the...
