• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    5 year warranty

I had purchased the 5 year extended warranty in Oct 2008 when I took delivery of my 08 SM5. I cannot locate the original paperwork, but I thought I saw a digital version of BRP’s extended warranty online. Has anyone seen that? Does anyone know offhand if the body is covered years 3-5? My...

    Vacuum line missing?

On the right side of the engine, under the airbox, there is a part that the parts fiche calls a solenoid, but does not say what it is for. A hose runs up to it from the bottom of the crankcase and from it to the throttle body, and out the side is a nipple that looks like a vacuum hose should...

Rough Idle after engine reaches 3-4 bars

The idle is nice and steady as she warms up, 1350-1400 RPMS. When it reaches 3-4 bars, it starts to sputter every minute or so. The problem is only at idle, and when trying to take off in first gear. Anything over 4000 RPMs, the engine is strong, responsive and smooth. Here is what I have done...

    Sprocket to rear wheel

Just had a BF Goodrich mounted on my rear wheel. I took the sprocket off for the mounting. It lifted strait off with no problem. Now I am putting it back on and I had a 1/16 inch gap between the sprocket and the wheel. I checked the O ring and it is in place. I tried tapping it down with a...

    Chroming/Powdercoating Wheels

I will be removing the rear wheel to put on new rubber this Winter. I want to have the rear wheel and sprocket chromed while I have it off. I was hoping to get some insight from those of you who have had their wheel chromed or powder coated. Can they chrome the rest, without chroming the...

    ISCI driver floorboards

These look well made and very comfortable for long cruises. What I am wondering is how do they feel when riding and cornering agressively? The stock pegs give you alot of grip. Do your feet slide on these?

    Unfinshed panels, no problem!

Say what you will about the Spyder, but as owners experience everyday, it is truly a unique machine. This really came to light for me when my friend’s daughter asked me to bring her to her prom on my Spyder. As much as I offered to take her in my Celica since she would be in a gown and there was...

Evan, I am having a problem with the install on the Magical Wizards. I can’t get all 7 colors. With all the wires connected, manually turning from one color to the next I get: First push nothing, next push amber, then a bright white, then blue, then the bright white. If I disconnect the...

    Brakes rubbing, warped rotor?

When riding I notice a rubbing noise coming from my wheel. I jacked up the front end so the wheels spin freely. When I give the wheel a spin, at one point in every rotation, I can hear it rub, and it eventually stops on that spot. The right is more noticable, but the left does it too. This...

    3000 mile service

The manual says it is due every 3000 miles. So does that mean 3000 miles after the initial 600 mile service? i.e. at 3600? Or is it done at 3000?
