• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Check Engine/"Limp Home" Mode on '16 RT-S < 11k Miles?

So wifey was riding Gipsy Danger home from Ventura today and got a Check Engine light with "Limp Home" Mode displayed in the instrument cluster. We were about an hour away from home and made it back to the house without incident. Engine seemed to be running normal. No overheat condition or other...

Shoddy fit on F3 Corbin Seat?

Greetings Spyder Lovers! I just installed the Corbin Dual Tour Saddle on my '16 F3-S and was wondering if anyone else was experiencing unsightly body gaps between the saddle and the rest of the trike? The saddle is quite comfortable, but doesn't seem to sit flush again the body. I double and...

7Jurock 27" Windscreen on the Batpod

Swapped out my Route 129 Can Am windshield on the Batpod for a new 7Jurock windscreen in 27" height and dark gray. Gotta say, I love the new look AND the decreased windchill to the torso! Big ups to my boy, Jon (JS3535) for assisting with the install! Russ

    Power Plate Install Help...

Greetings SoCal/CenCal/Vegas RT'ers! I just picked up a Lamonster Dual Power Plate with Large X-Grip (http://www.lamonstergarage.com/lamon...-large-x-grip/) for Gipsy Danger (wifey's '16 RT-S). Wondering if anyone would be able to lend a hand with the install? I'm not the best when it comes to...

    Best RT-S Radiator Grille "Surprise"?

So wifey and I were cleaning up Gipsy Danger the other day and happened upon this: This little guy took it STRONG to the beak...a little TOO strong, unfortunately. For all the Spanish speakers out there, this was his final "TOMA'!!!" This got me thinking: Anyone else ever get something...

    3 Spyders and counting...

As promised, the newly minted 2 year old got her Spyder. She's still figuring it out, but that's NOT stopping her from trying to "hot dog" a little on it... :roflblack:

Latest Farkle Grenade & Subsequent Road Test Impressions...

Got the Bajaron/Lamonster Swaybar & Links installed on the Batpod today. Wow! What a difference in ride quality! For those not yet running them on their F3 bikes, these parts tighten up the front end something fierce. After getting these bits installed, rode 100+ miles home from Castaic to...

    Gipsy Danger's First Farkle Grenade

So, wifey is not much for lobbing Farkle Grenades. She's of the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" school of thought. However, when she mentioned how nice it would be to have a backrest on Gipsy Danger, just like I have on the Batpod, I jumped at the chance to toss another Farkle Grenade. Just...

Some Late Night F3 Farkle Grenade Lobbing...

After a LONG day of work, nothing beats getting into the garage and tossing some farkle grenades at the Batpod. Got a few Lamonster goodies in the mail today and decided to hook them up with a swiftness. I'm not usually one for the ostentatious bling, but I have to admit, the IPS caps for the...

1st successful oil change in the books!

Thanks to the excellent intel on here and specific member feedback on panel removal on the F3S, I completed my first successful oil change this evening  Indeed, the toughest part was snaking the oil filter housing cap out of the bike. I temporarily moved the brake fluid reservoir, and...

    F3 Rear Shock options

Considering swapping the rear shock on my F3S. I noticed a couple of options on Can Am's website: - FOX Factory series 2.0 PODIUM RC2 Rear Shock (Can Am Part # 219400577) - FOX Adjustable Rear Shock (Can Am Part # 219400734) Anyone running either of these? Differences between the two? Any...

F3 RH Body Panel removal (pictures?)

Did a search for this one, nothing specific popped up, if there IS something out there...apologies for a duplicate post. Getting ready to do the 3k oil change (1st one) on my F3S. Watched Lamonster's video on it...all pretty straightforward. Just wondering if anyone out there has any detailed...

Lamonster F3 RIP Boards 1st Ride 100+ Mile impressions

Got the Lamonster F3 RIP Boards installed on my F3 today...GREAT mod! I never considered myself a floorboard person, but they make a HUGE difference. I'm 6'3" and it's nice to have a bunch of different footing positions to fight long ride fatigue in the lower extremities. The larger brake pedal...

    Arachnid Infestation

Wifey's big 3-0 birthday was last October, Valentine's Day is right around the corner...AND it's our 5 year wedding anniversary this coming May. Chocolates just don't cut it when you're facing all of these milestones...Sooooooo, I did this... We're a 2 Spyder family now. She's QUITE happy...

    F3 MPG (Tuned vs. Untuned)

Fellow F3'ers: I'm curious to know what kind of MPG differences you guys and gals are seeing between your tuned and un-tuned rigs. I didn't have my Spyder very long before I slapped the Dynojet module on it. I'm currently seeing ≈ 32 MPG in mixed riding. How about some of you other folks...

    F3 GPS/Cell Phone Mount Options

Fellow F3'ers: I've been deliberating about a GPS mount for my F3S...just wondering what some of you guys and gals are running? The "no-brainer" option is the Can Am mount for the Garmin 590 unit (Can Am Part # 219400681). Just wondering if anyone had a simpler option (i.e. something akin to...
