• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First Oil Change 2013 ST-S SE at 2K miles

Having no idea what the service history is on my wife's bike I decided to play it safe and change the oil and filters on her ST. Oddly, at 2K miles, there was a fairly significant leak in what appears to be coming from the drain on the tank. I'll keep an eye on it and see if it comes back. I...

    2016 Fall Ride Photos

My wife and I took a nice fall ride today. The temps were in the mid 60s and it was beautiful. We rode to Clifton, VA! We rode out to Occoquan Reservoir for a few photos, then into Clifton for breakfast, then back to Alexandria. A nice mix of freeway, backroad twisties and in town riding. She...

    Vibration causes?

Hi, I have two types of vibration on my wife's 2013 ST-S SE5. The first is when cold and I start to move slowly, it rattles and rumbles something awful. Wait 30 seconds and it doesn't do it. I suspect it is just the motor is cold blooded. I need to make sure to warm it up more. Is there a...

    New Mods for my wife's 2013 ST-S.

I ordered a set of universal fit panniers from E-bay, yes, yes I did. I am actually pretty impressed. They are light weight, but do not feel flimsy. They have solid universal mount components, lock, easy one/off, and have dual lighting. I could do running and signals, brakes and signals, or...

New 2013 (to us) ST-S and a couple questions.

So, we picked up a new to us 2013 ST-S SE5. It runs great, and look great, as it should having only 1600 miles on it now, after a 195 mile ride from picking it up. It has a few items on it like the comfort seat, the top case (Givi/Can AM) and passenger backrest, iPhone mount, Frunk liner and...

    Spyder V Motorcycle Differences?

I'm sure this has been covered before, but please pardon the n0Ob. I did read the Do's and Dont's, and found them informative. I have a few hundred thousand miles on two wheel bikes, and currently ride my BMW R1200GS to work daily. I hope to pick up my wife's new to her Spyder ST-S on Sunday...

    Taking the MSF 3-Wheel Course.

I know this is technically a rule violation, but my wife isn't big into forums, so said I could post for her.:lecturef_smilie: I'm very proud of Mrs. JVB for her graduating the three wheel MSF class with a nearly perfect score! Not only that, but she did the first full day in the storm from...
