• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Suggestions for a Solar Panel to charge Sena h/sets?

I am shopping for a solar panel just to charge our Sena headsets. I am looking for a portable unit, I don't wish to mount it on our Timeout trailer. Any suggestions?

    Utah National Parks accessibility

My wife and I planned to travel through the National Parks in Utah on our Spyders. My question is how many of the roads in those parks are hard surfaced? I think most agree that Spyders and gravel roads aren't compatible. We plan to hike some but the accessibility is to the trailhead is still...

    Garmin Zumo 660 mount

I traded my 2012 RTL for a 2019 RTL. It had a 660 that I kept. I have been looking for a wiring harness and mount but have had no luck. Does anybody have any ideas where I might find one?

    2019 RTL wiring harness

I just traded for a 2019 RTL. I kept the hitch but am looking at the wiring harness. Trailers Etc has a harness for the18 and newer for $100. This is half price of anything else I have found. Does anyone have any experience with this brand or any suggestions?

    Backrest

I traded my 2012 RTL for a 2019 RTL. My 2012 had a Show Chrome backrest. I had no issues with it, maybe not as solid as the Can Am driver backrest I installed on my wife's 2018. It seems the Can Am rest pushes me ahead, resulting in less legroom. I did adjust the Can Am rest which is an...

    2012 to 2019 RTL

I know this is a topic that has been beat to death but here goes. I have a 12 RT with 11k miles. I pull a trailer 50% of the time. My shoulder bothers me after I ride and it may hurt after I ride a 1330 3-400 miles per day. My wife has an 18 and it steers easier and seems to handle windy...

    Alaska

This may be an old, worn out topic but here goes. I plan to retire in 2021 and plan to take our toy hauler to Alaska. Is it worthwhile to take a Spyder along? We were there 5 years ago on a cruise and a land tour. We only traveled the Parks Highway. I know there are oiled roads but I don't know...

    Baha Ron Sway bar

I have a 2012 RT and notice high winds and semis buffet me and cornering can be a bit challenging at times. I plan to buy a new sway bar hoping to improve that. My wife has a 2018 RT, she doesn't complain but would a new sway bar improve the handling on the 18? I believe I read the newer Can Ams...

    Show Chrome Backrest

My wife ordered me a Show Chrome backrest for my 2012 RTL. I am not sure how it will work. The Amazon reviews are OK. It is affordable compared to a new seat. She rides a 2018 RTL and plans to order a Can Am backrest later. Are their any others products available? I am open to suggestions. Thanks

How different will I sit on 2009 GS vs RT-L?

I have a 2012 RTL and am considering buying a 2009 GS SM5 with 5,800 miles. It has handle bar risers, My question is how much different will I set with this versus the RTL? I don't want to be bent over like a Ninja rider!

    Wiring harness

This is a photo of the wiring that is on the Spyder we bought. I am attempting to connect to a trailer we bought. I would like to use this rather than install a new one. I purchased an automotive plug but it is just a little too large. Any ideas what type this might be? Thanks

    Trailer Wiring

I have a 2012 RTL that has the hitch and wiring harness (4 pin). I bought a Cyclemate trailer (4 flat) and would like to change the male end on the trailer. I believe this would be the easiest. Where would I buy the end and is this the best approach?

    Trading RTL

I bought a used 2012 RTL this summer with 4,500 miles on it. We really enjoyed it but only rode it about 700 miles. I am considering trading it off for a new 2016. What are the major improvements since 2012? Obviously the larger engine, slower RPMs and better gas mileage. My wife and I ride 2 up...
