• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ultimate Seat Gas Door Pass Through

Has anyone added a gas door pass through on the side of their Ultimate Seat? I have a 2011 RSS. Ultimate Seats will not put one on the RSS seat, but they will the RT seat. I asked if it could be done by a local upholstery shop, and was told I would have to take the seat there to find out. I dont...

    Fan Can

Hey guys. I have a "new to me" 2011 RSS SE5. It has a Fan Can installed. On a recent 80 degree day, I noticed considerable heat on my right leg/foot. Now, I know there were heat issues in this area, and I assume that is what the fan can is for. I didnt stop the spyder and get off to make sure...

    Engine corrosion removal

Hi guys! I have been laid up for a year now due to having 2 back surgeries. During that time, the spyder was outside and covered with a heavy tarp. Upon removal of the tarp, I discovered that my engine has corrosion! I guess condensate was trapped and caused this. What can I do to remove this...

    2011 RSS SE5 not starting

Need some help. 2011 RSS SE5 will not start. It turns over, gauges all work, but it just will not start. Battery was checked with and without load, and it seems fine. In September 2018, put new MSD plug wires and plugs on from BajaRon. Also put in the new battery. It started just fine then...

Have a 2011 RSS SE5 that will not start. i have put in a new battery thinking that the old one was bad. I turn the key to on, go through the start up sequence. It turns over, but will not fire. Well, I take that back. It did fire once, and I had to keep feathering the throttle to keep it running...

    Battery tender hook up

I want to attach the battery tender cables to my 2011 RSS so all I have to do is plug in the tender. Is it acceptable to hook up the cables to the terminals under the seat? Or is it better to have them hooked straight to the battery?

    GPS and Cell Phone Mount

Hi all! I recently purchased a 2011 RSS SE5. I really want to be able to mount my GPS and my cell phone to the bike and have the ability to charge them. I have looked through past posts, but am not seeing how to mount either of these things, or where to run charging cables from. Is it possible...

    New spyder owner with questions

Just bought a 2011 RSS SE5 with about 9000 miles. Rode it 120 miles home today on mostly interstate. This was the first time I had ridden a spyder. I am coming from a Piaggio MP3 which is also a three wheeler, but it leans like a 2 wheeler. I cannot say I had fun on the ride home. I was scared...
